Today is all about celebrating the wonderful dogs who make what we do at Sidewood so special.

From the determined athletes who come to train and perform, to the dogs who visit us for massage, rehabilitation and therapy, every single one has their own personality, story and special place in our hearts. 🐶

We feel incredibly lucky to meet so many amazing dogs — and even luckier to play a small part in helping them feel their best, move their best and enjoy life to the fullest. 💙

Here’s to all the Sidewood dogs — past, present and future! 🐾

🐾 A little sneak peek from inside Sidewood… 🐾

Something rather exciting happened here this week…

I carried out my first Clinical Massage Therapy session in the NEW Sidewood therapy centre! 🥰

The gorgeous Freya was my very first client to experience the new therapy area — and she settled in beautifully. In fact, I think she may have been a little too comfortable! 😂❤️

Although there is still plenty to finish before I officially unveil the new centre, the therapy area is now being put to good use for Clinical Canine Massage and, very soon, Class IV Laser Therapy.

Seeing the space finally being used for what Team Sidewood have been working towards for so long is a pretty special feeling. 🥹

And this is only the beginning…

There are some very exciting things happening over the next few weeks, and I can't wait to share them with you. 👀

For now, here's a little glimpse behind the scenes — and one very relaxed Freya after receiving her first massage in her new surroundings. 💙🐾

~ NEW AT SIDEWOOD CANINE THERAPY ~
✨LASER THERAPY!✨

I am VERY excited to announce that Sidewood Canine Therapy is adding Class IV Laser Therapy (also known as Photobiomodulation) to our range of canine rehabilitation and wellbeing services.

And the laser has officially arrived! 🎉

Laser therapy uses targeted light energy to stimulate cellular activity and can help support the body's natural healing processes, reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation and promote tissue repair.
No needles, no medication — just targeted therapeutic light to help the body heal.
It can be used as a stand-alone treatment or, where appropriate, as part of a wider treatment plan alongside Clinical Massage Therapy and/or Clinical Hydrotherapy.
Whether your dog is recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition (for example, Osteoarthritis, IVDD or hip dysplasia), experiencing muscular soreness, or is a canine athlete needing support with recovery and performance, laser therapy may have a valuable role to play.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand today. It was wonderful to meet so many lovely people and their amazing dogs, and to chat about canine health, mobility, massage therapy and our new Companion Stance Analyser.
