the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival is in less than 2 weeks! We will be hosting a shakeout run for the gals. A chance to shake off the pre race nerves and enjoy a drink and a chit chat at Pier 88 💖 even if you’re not taking part in the Kirkcaldy running festival, you are welcome to come along to this!

at newly opened Un:Wynd Kirkcaldy this morning! Great to have somewhere local that’s open early for our morning runs 💖

WEMYSS WARE CAT TRAIL RUN 😻

What a morning! Just shy of 17k running around all of the central Kirkcaldy cat sculptures with this big gang of gals. Thank you so much to everyone that came along, it was so much fun and you all did so well! Goodie bags included a fab medal (thanks for the help with this!) and a delicious home baked cinnamon bun from Unit Bakery Fife 👌

This is a fun, social run around the central Kirkcaldy cat sculptures! A group photo at every cat we find and treats at the end.

🗓️ Sunday 12th July
⏰ 9am start - 12 ish finish!
📍 start at the cabbage rose cat, Morrisons end of the prom. End point will be nearer the centre of the prom.
🏃‍♀️ the route works out at 16km! A long run, but chill vibes and lots of stops for photos. We will stick together for the run and allow everyone to catch up at each cat. There will be medals but please note this is just for fun and isn’t a race!

🎟️ TICKETS: £15 per person. Includes a super special cat trail run medal (these are gonna be cute!!!) as well as a finisher goodie bag and a sweet treat ✨

IWD 2026❣️
On the surface it’s going for a run and having a coffee. But on a deeper level? It’s coming together to celebrate each other, to share stories and experiences, to empower one another. It’s women lifting each other up, cheering each other on and creating community and friendships.

Sadly it’s an ongoing issue for us feeling unsafe to run alone or to run in the dark, which just emphasises the importance of IWD and us keeping on pushing for safer spaces for all of us!

Let’s keep fighting for our rights and celebrating all women, today and everyday. Happy international women’s day! You are all absolutely amazing and inspiring!!! Love from gals on the go❣️

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY GALS ON THE GO! 🥳

I was so nervous that first morning a year ago, organising the first 5k and wondering if anyone was going to show up. Well, you did show up! And I’m so grateful that you all did! It’s been a brilliant experience getting to know all of you. Thank you so much to every girl that has ran with us over the past year, whether you’re a regular at Friday morning, a weekend only run gal or a newbie to the group - YOU are what makes this community the supportive, friendly and welcoming place it has grown into!!! It goes to show that there really is a true yearning for community and connection within our towns and I hope we are making even a small positive impact towards this with our group 🫶

From Kirkcaldy to Morocco, we’ve achieved so much together already and I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for us🥹
