RAITH 4 - 2 FAIR CITY

this afternoon we hosted Fair city coming down from Perth. A cracking game played in perfect footballing conditions.

Like our pre season friendly the game started at a frantic pace! Really good game to watch as both teams played at a high tempo.

Raith scored mid way through the first half through Peattie. A great finish from Jack.

Half time 1-0

Second half fair city equalised with a great header. We then pretty much went right up the pitch and scored again with a cracking finish from Jack again.

Then fair city went right back up the pitch and scored straight away 2-2. The game was like a basket ball game at this point.

Both teams went looking for a winner and the game could have went either way. Robbie then found himself free in the box and calmly slotted home. Great finish and great to have Robbie back after almost 10 months injured. First game back and first goal, keep it going lad 💪

Fair city hunted down an equaliser and Raith broke on the counter, big Kenzie charged down the wing and got free from his man. He then unselfishly squared the ball for Jack to grab his hattrick ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ Great to have Peattie back playing as he splits his time between the under 20s and us.

Great fight and desire from our lads today.

Next up Blue Brazil home, Randolph park Kirkcaldy this time due to Kirkcaldy half Marathon 2pm Kick off next Sunday.

JAMIE - Harris- outstanding again from Harris, really solid at the heart of the defence once again.

STEVIE - Callum - the big man in the sticks had his best game for us I would say. He was outstanding made 5/6 superb saves including a great double save. Well done lad

Keir - Robbie - Robbie came back after 10 months. Put in a solid shift. Grabbed his goal to put us back infront. Really good to see him back on the pitch 👏

Still on the look out for experienced players. We are looking for players to challenge spots in our starting 11

2009/2010 players.

East Fife 6 - 0 Raith

Raith headed up to Leven for the first game of the new season. A hard start for us against a very good side in East Fife.

Well done to them they over powered us on the day with some good goals 👏

Special mentions to our man of the matches yesterday.

Harris and Oscar, both put in a power of work and fought until the end for the team.

Next up is Fair City next weekend at home.

All the best to East Fife for the remainder of the season. A cracking team who i suspect will be up there fighting for the league and cups.
