U15 CNA League Play off Tournament

What a fantastic start to the season for our U15 Flares!

A brilliant first tournament together and the girls certainly delivered:

Winning all 5 games, conceding only 3 goals to finish in 1st place 🥇

The Flares showed fantastic teamwork, determination and work rate throughout the tournament.
Our shooters were on fire 🔥, the midcourt created turnover after turnover, and our defence was relentless from start to finish, conceding just 3 goals across the five games!

Most importantly, the girls worked brilliantly for each other, showing great team spirit, encouragement and togetherness throughout.

A brilliant foundation to build on as the season progresses, with lots more to develop and work towards.

Big well done, Flares, an impressive start! 🔥

U15 CNA League Play-Off Tournament

What a performance from our Rockets today!

With just seven players available, the girls gave absolutely everything across five games, winning three, narrowly losing two and finishing 2nd in their play-offs! 🥈

Some fantastic teamwork throughout the day, with great movement, passing, interceptions and plenty of pressure in defence.
Alba & Eilidh worked brilliantly together in the shooting circle, while Zara & Zoe formed a strong defensive partnership.
Grace, Emma and Lexie worked tirelessly through the midcourt and showed fantastic determination from start to finish. 👏

A brilliant start to the season, with lots of positives to build on in training.

🟣⭐️ P4 - P6 WE ARE BACK! ⭐️🟣

We have had a great first two weeks back at netball!.
It’s honestly felt like we have never been away, the girls have jumped straight back into it, remembering everything they had learnt before the summer holidays.

It was also fantastic to welcome our new P4s this week! They all did absolutely fab, joined in brilliantly and, most importantly, had lots of fun! 😊🏐

It is certainly not an easy job, as we have so many brilliant players giving their all each session! 👏🏻

Izzie gave it 100% during the session, trying really hard in the drills and match play. Fantastic effort, Izzie! 👏🏻💪🏻⭐️

Robyn was very determined, fought for every ball and played fantastically during the match play. What a great effort! 👏🏻💪🏻⭐️

A huge well done to both girls!

Kinross Netballers had an absolutely amazing experience watching top level Netball competition at the Commonwealth Games.

The Hydro was packed, the atmosphere electric as everyone raised the roof to support our Scottish Thistles to their best ever performances against the other top nations.

An unforgettable epic week with record breaking performances , awe inspiring netball and an outstanding 8th place finish for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.
We are so lucky to have seen this on home soil, felt so much pride and watched the incredible inspiration to our younger generation.
Our members had so much fun, meeting the athletes, making new friends, fan girling round the Hydro.
Everyone was such amazing role models and so generous with their time.

Can't wait to support 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 again as we get set for:-

The World Cup Qualifying Tournament, on 25th-27th September at Playsport Arena, East Kilbride.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 THISTLES MAKE HISTORY 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our Scottish Thistles have registered their highest score at a Commonwealth Games, with a 77-27 win against Trinidad & Tobago.
This is our team's second consecutive win of the competition with a brilliant full squad performance.

The 50-goal margin also represents Scotland’s largest win.

We are massively proud of our Thistles especially our local superstar Cerys Cairns , playing GA who nailed 50/56 at 89%.

We can't wait to get behind Kath Tetley (nee Keenan) , Lesley and the Thistles as they take on Jamaica and Uganda next.
We will be gunning for Uganda to hopefully take us into a 5th / 6th play off position.

Get along to the Hydro, the atmosphere is electric, Scotland are playing their best netball.
