Friendly vs Hedon Eastside

The boys welcomed Hedon Eastside to their first friendly which gave a real community vibe for the new U7’s.

Seth and Caleb both won their MOM awards for commitment in the tackle, great passing and movement to go with it. Well done boys 💙

What a day at Priory for our biggest tournament yet! Three Rangers teams — Blues, Whites & Royals — all battled through their groups to reach the knockouts. 👏

The Whites won their quarter-final, while the Royals grabbed a last-minute winner against a strong Discovery side!

The Royals then reached the final, while the Whites narrowly lost a brilliant 3-2 semi-final to Hull United.

The Blues looked on course for an all-Rangers final, leading 2-0, before three goals in three minutes heartbreakingly ended their run. 💔

That left the Royals to face Hessle in the final. A brilliant team performance saw them run out 4-2 winners!

A tough game against a strong Hull United side, but the boys showed brilliant character, worked hard for each other and scored some great team goals. These are the games that help us grow the most! 👏🏼

A brilliant first full day of football for the mini Rangers! Every player worked hard, showed great team spirit and took plenty of positives and lessons from the day.

A big welcome to Hudson and Lennox for stepping in and fitting straight into the team!

Congratulations to Rogan on his Supporters player for another outstanding all-round performance! And our number 12 whose determination, commitment and never-give-up attitude earned him a well-deserved Man of the match.

We travelled to a newly formed Hessle Sporting team, all the kids played in great spirit and I’m sure we’ll be seeing them again soon 👍🏻

Our coaches player went to Hudson, he was in an attacking side but managed to display his defensive skills whilst laying on some lovely passes. Scored plenty of goals like he always does 🙌🏻

Supporters player went to Theodore this week, his energy was infectious for his team mates, setting the tone by winning the ball high and playing some wonderful football when in possession.

Hornsea tournament

Supporters’ Player of the Day went to Parker. A proper teammate’s performance, playing in numerous positions and giving 110% every single minute he was on the pitch. Brilliant effort.

Theodore, aka Sykesy was our Coaches player of the week. It can be a scary thing simply stepping onto that pitch, so to show the bravery he did—not only overcoming those nerves but then making such a positive contribution for your teammates—showed exactly what football is all about. Fully deserved. 🧤
