Myton Warriors u14 Greens 2026

The lads travelled across to Lancashire today to face a really well drilled outfit in Leigh East.

Both packs enjoyed the physical battle with a number of big collisions throughout the game.

Not to be outdone, the backs played some brilliant rugby.

Blake bagged himself a brace whilst Henry and Damian also crossed the line for a try each and Max kicking 3 from 4 conversions.

There were some outstanding performances from a number of lads but in the end Leigh East voted for Damian, Temi and Brad as player of the matches.

A great setup down a Leigh East and we look forward to returning the hospitality we received in a return fixture down the road.

Huge congratulations to Max, Freddie and Jaxon who today signed their scholarship contracts for Hull FC.

With the Myton u15 Reds losing a few players today due to illness….

Dan, Max, Brad, Damo and Henry got a late call to play up a year as the u15 reds welcomed a strong Hull Wyke team to Warrior Park

All five of the u14 Greens played big minutes in the pack and didn’t look out of place playing against a physical Hull Wyke pack.

The lads were involved in a number of big collisions defensively and matched their Hull Wyke counterparts.

With the ball in hand all 5 lads made plenty of meters and in in one set took all 5 carries between them, going from their own 10m line and marching Hull Wyke all the way to their own 10m line and coming up just short.

Damo walked away with one of the player of the match awards but honestly could have gone to any of them!

An outstanding performance by all the lads!

Sundays result saw the boys take the points in a tough encounter against Hull Wyke.

Massive congratulations to Blake, Damian, Jaxon, Henry and their school team who won the year 9 Schools National Cup last week.

Also, massive well done to Alfie, Cooper, Dan, Jack, Jensen and their school team who won the Schools Yorkshire Cup plate competittion.
