Did you know Colin Brown that joined the management team this season is a Durnz Boy!

Born and raised in the Dirrans, although he never played for Dirrans Athletic Amatuers, here he is with his brother Gary in the Dirrans Boys Club strip.

Colins boys club team was run by his Dad Charlie Brown and Ian Cashmore Snr with the goals kept out Charlie's back door!

We exit the Jimmy Scott in the first round.

We found ourselves 1-0 down inside 10minutes through an OG.

Shakey 5 mins after conceding but we grew back in to the game and should have been level before HT.

Second half John Monan get us level on the 57th minute but the game twists again when Onthank win a penalty which Millar Dorrans saves.

Ayrsey then receives a second yellow for a wee bit of 👜s and gets his marching orders.

Onthank score in the 84th minute from a cross ball and then kill the game in the 89th with a third while we're pushing to get level.

Well done to Onthank and all the best for the rest of the season.

Today we are away to Onthank Amatuers in the James Scott Trophy.

The club have a great affiliation with the James "Jimmy" Scott Trophy with it being named in memory of our founder member.

Thanks to former player and manager Jason Stewart at Breen Roofing for sponsoring club captain Andrew Postlethwaite again this season.

Fitting that Jason and Andrew feature on today's match day spotlight having won this cup twice in their time at the club. 🏆🏆
