🌕 FULL MOON FLOATING SOUND BATH – 25TH OCTOBER

After the incredible response to our first Floating Sound Bath at Mount View Swimming, we knew we had to do another one.

Join us on the next Full Moon for an evening designed to give you time to completely switch off, reconnect with yourself and simply be still.

✨ Begin with a cacao ceremony with Tanya, connecting to your heart, aligning your chakras and setting your intentions
🌕 Settle onto your floating bed on our warm pool
😌 Memory foam pillow & eye mask provided
🧘 A short guided meditation
🎶 Followed by an immersive live sound bath as you float

No rushing. No demands. Nothing you need to do or organise. Just time for you.

NEW SWIMMING SPACES JUST OPENED! 💙
We’ve managed to open up a few very limited spaces for our Autumn term, starting this weekend!

Due to demand, we’ve opened an additional Saturday Non-Swimmer group, and there are now just 2 spaces remaining.

And thanks to some fantastic progression from our existing swimmers moving up through their levels, we’ve also released:
• 1 space in another Non-Swimmer group
• 3 spaces across our Beginner groups - ideal for children around Swim England Stages 3/4, who are already able to swim a short distance independently and are ready to develop their technique, stamina and strokes.

Our groups are deliberately kept small, with just 4 children in each class, so every swimmer gets plenty of individual attention, while still enjoying the confidence and motivation that comes from learning alongside others. (On rare occasions, you may see a 5th child in a session when we’re accommodating a one-off rearrangement due to illness or holiday).

- £20 per session with the first session free for new joiners when booking a full term

These are the only group spaces we currently have available, and we expect them to go very quickly.

✨️🌕FULL MOON FLOATING SOUND BATH 🌕✨️

Sunday 27th September | 5pm | at Mount View Swimming

Join us for a very special Full Moon Floating Sound Bath with Tanya Smale - a Sunday evening dedicated to slowing down, switching off and resetting before the week ahead.

We’ll begin poolside with a cacao ceremony and intention setting, before settling onto your own floating bed on our beautifully warm pool for a one hour floating meditation and immersive sound bath.

Lie back, pop on your eye mask and allow yourself to gently float while Tanya surrounds the pool with the sounds and vibrations of her gong and crystal bowls.

Float. Breathe. Listen. Let go.

A chance to quieten your mind, calm your body and restore your balance before Monday arrives.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect - our session takes place the evening after September’s full moon, with the moon still 99.8% illuminated on the 27th.

Spaces will be very limited to keep the experience intimate and peaceful.

🌊 EXTRA SWIMMING SESSIONS ADDED DUE TO DEMAND 🌊

We are currently filling our September term, however, due to such popular demand we have opened a small number of additional sessions for our June term.

📅 w/c 8th June - 19th July

Availability includes:

🏊 Children’s non-swimmer, beginner & improver groups
🏊 1:1 child & SEND sessions
🏊 Sibling group sessions
🏊 1:1 rehabilitation sessions
🏊 1:1 or group adult confidence sessions
🏊 Homeschool daytime sessions

Our lessons are designed to be very different from large public swim schools, with a strong focus on confidence building, calm teaching and creating a positive experience in the water.

Meet Ben - the instructor behind Mount View Swimming 👋

Delivering personalised swimming sessions in a private 32°C pool set in a peaceful countryside location.

Ben’s approach is shaped by years of high level sport and coaching. A six time national judo champion and rugby player at divisional level, he understands first hand how the right coaching - tailored to the individual - gets the best results.

Having trained with elite coaches and attended military school, Ben brings a balance of structure, discipline and patience into every lesson. Calm, supportive and encouraging, he focuses on building confidence first - while also knowing when to gently challenge swimmers to help them progress.

As a father of two and someone who has experienced learning difficulties himself, Ben understands that every child learns differently. He takes the time to build trust, adapt his teaching style and create a positive relationship with each swimmer - because that’s where real progress begins.

From children and SEND swimmers to adults, rehabilitation and senior sessions, each lesson is tailored to the individual. Group sizes are kept small so every swimmer gets the time, attention and support they need - creating a very different experience to busy public pools.

Providing a positive, relaxed experience in the water is at the heart of everything he does.

Fully qualified through Swim England and the Institute of Swimming, with up-to-date DBS, safeguarding and insurance - so you’re in safe hands.
