Not the finish you hope for going into Regional Open qualifying but I have to say atleast I finished.

I had a fast start going -2 through 3 holes and then unfortunately had a few too many doubtful swings between holes 5 and 8 which meant I ended up +1 at the turn.

I played the type of golf that would have qualified, which I need to be proud of but couldn't make a putt. A double bogey down the last by ending up in the fairway bunker lip, then spinning it off the green was a painful end to the tournament.

Except for holes 6 and 18, I played golf I should be proud of considering I'm only 4.5 weeks post operation on my leg. Hopefully I can play the rest of the season out and get a result.

Some big mistakes and a very slow finish made me miss the cut this week but there was a lot of good out weighing the bad. The bad was punishing unfortunately this week but we will bounce back.

A good run this year at qualifying, 71 level par in those winds was a hard graft but bogeys on 17 and 18 stopped me from making it through to final qualifying. Putts didn't drop coming in and a couple of clumsy chips too 😂

was incredible hosts and thank you to my caddie Matt for enjoying the day with me. Hopefully finish one better next year.

Good week to build on at on the Tier 1.

5 lost balls and 2x 3 putts made up the score this week, frustrating as there was a lot of good golf ruined by 5 swings. This course is seriously hard but can't wait to come back 😂
