Full-Time!

It’s back to back wins for the U14 Sharks after a comfortable win against Horsforth SM.

From start to finish the girls controlled the game really well and on another day it would have been double figures.

Their goalkeeper simply kept the scoring down in both halves but the girls didn’t quit and found them leading at half time 3-0

Second half they carried the same tempo , team work and some well worked football saw them see out the game 6-0!

Wow! what a fantastic game to watch today!
We found ourselves 3-0 down early on in the game and could have quite easily given up, but not our girls! They put up an incredible fight getting the game back to 3-3 at half time and could have quite easily scored 1 or 2 more.
Some tired legs in the 2nd half but they never gave up, Wigton scored another 2 to make it 5-3 then Hollie with an absolute worldie! made it 5-4 we where unlucky in the end not to get a 5th, I think a share of the points would have been a fair result.
Lots of positives to take forward in to training and our next game.

Full-Time!

Silsden U14 Sharks start their campaign with a strong performance winning on the road against Ilkley Ravens.

High press , high tempo saw the girls see out a 5-1 win on the opening fixture. Great team work great team effort and great attitude saw the girls control the game from start to finish.

Eight goal Thriller in the Children's charity cup sees Eldwick win on penalties.

Silsden Sharks hosted Eldwick in Saturday down at Marley in a Charity Cup match raising money for the Children's Ward down at Airedale.

The game didn't disappoint! Eldwick finding an equaliser with 2 seconds left of the game.

The Sharks showed great spirit coming from 2-1 down to leading 4-2 with 10 minutes left game.

Eldiwck some how found 2 goals to take the game to penalties in which Eldwick won 5-4 to take the Chairty Cup back to Bingley

The day was all about raising money for a great cause down at Airedale. The girls raised a total of £215.35

It was a great morning and we look forward to doing it all again next year!
