⚽️ U12 🟡 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

What a performance from the girls yesterday against Glenburn!

Their attitude, commitment and teamwork were fantastic. They listened to what we asked of them and put it into practice throughout the game.

From defence to attack, the link-up play was superb at times, with some lovely passing, getting the ball wide and some brilliant crosses into the box. 🙌🏻

A really tough choice for Player of the Match, with Ava’s crossing and Kacey’s goals both mentioned, but it was Neve who was selected for her overall contribution to the team and her goals. 👏🏻👏🏻

⚽️ U12 🟡 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

Our U12 🟡 kicked off their league campaign at the Maress yesterday against Crosshouse.

The girls were excellent playing their first competitive 9 aside game, they kept their shape used the ball well and worked hard for each other scoring some very good individual and team goals.

⚽️ U10 🔴 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

U10s Reds were in action yesterday against Glenburn at a wet Maress, but conditions helped our girls play some absolutely fantastic football by zipping the ball about on the wet surface at pace.

Led by Captain Rosie, the girls were on it from the first whistle and some of the link up play and build up to the goals was tremendous to watch.

These girls work extremely hard at training on the way we want to play and its now starting to show on the pitch.

Well done girls, absolutely brilliant performance 👏👏

⚽️ U10 🟡 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

Clark Drive vs Cumnock

Great game over at Barony Campus yesterday for the U10 Yellows. Girls took a bit of time to switch on for the first game of the new season, but once they did and settled into place, some encouraging football was on display. On the attack we were dangerous with good passing and off the ball runs. Long balls from Cumnock made some problems for our defence later on, but in the tackle the girls showed some really positive play.

New addition Hannah was pivotal at the back in covering runs and communicating with her new team mates, well done!

Lots to work on in training for our next game against Kilwinning, but coaches and girls are excited for the season ahead 🔵⚽

Clark Drive Girls FC would like to say a massive well done to Aoife, Kalli, and Kaycie on being selected to attend the Scotland Women’s Under-16s Talent ID Day, hosted at Cumnock Juniors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the girls, and we hope you enjoy every single minute of your day.

Clark Drive Red took on Bellshill Girls away yesterday morning ⚽️

A really tough game against a strong team, especially in the heat and on such a big park. But what stood out most was the effort, determination and attitude from every single one of our girls. 💙👏

There was also some great football played at times, and plenty of positives to take from the game.

It’s all about the girls learning, developing and improving, and games like this are exactly where we learn the most. Playing against very good teams, challenging ourselves and taking those lessons into the next game. 💪⚽️

Our Captain yesterday was Neive, who gave it her all up and down the wing! 🩷 What a shift! 👏
