A bit of backstory: I could tell Lisa was up for a new challenge, she just didn't quite know what yet. I suggested she sign up for a fitness race because I thought she'd love it. She was a little apprehensive… so I signed up to do it with her!
Turns out moral support is sometimes paid in burpees! 🤣
She's been training with real consistency for a couple of years, so I knew she had the strength and fitness in her to get through it, even if she wasn't fully convinced herself.
Race day came and she was questioning all her life choices! 🙈
There were exercises in that workout she'd never done before, sleds, ski ergs, hurdles so of course some nerves crept in. Totally understandable.
But here's the thing: that's exactly what getting better at anything takes. Turning up to something and giving it a go anyway, even when it scares you a little.
Some stations were tougher than others, but she didn't stop. She pushed through and got every single one done. Those years of strength training showed up exactly when she needed them.
Crossing that finish line, Lisa proved something to herself that no amount of me telling her ever could: she was more than capable. She had the fitness. She had the strength. She just needed to prove it to herself.
And the best part? She was buzzing after and already wants to do it all over again! 🥳
That's what happens when you stop waiting to feel ready and just do it.
If there's something you've been putting off because you don't feel "ready enough" this is your sign.
DM me “READY” below and I'll pop you the details on how we can get you there too. 💪

After 15 years in the industry I’ve seen women achieve the most incredible things.
I've also watched women spend years, at times even decades, chasing a specific number on the scale. The sad part is most of the time once they hit that number it didn’t make them feel how they expected it to.
Here’s why…
The scale only tells you one thing, and that’s how much you weigh! It doesn’t tell you how much muscle you have. It doesn't tell you how your clothes fit. It doesn’t tell you how strong you are, how much energy you have or how confident you feel walking into a room.
That’s why in my coaching, we don’t make the scales the main focus.
Instead, we look at the bigger picture.
We track things like:
👉 How you’re performing in your sessions
👉 The weight you’re lifting
👉 The reps you’re hitting
👉 How your clothes are fitting
👉 How your body is changing
👉 Your energy levels
👉 Your confidence
👉 And ultimately, how you feel in your own skin
Because these are the things that actually tell us whether you’re making progress.
Body recomposition (building muscle while losing body fat) can change all of these things. And often, it happens without the scale moving very much at all.
I’ve had clients lose two dress sizes and barely move on the scale.
I’ve had clients lose only a couple of pounds and look and feel completely transformed.
That’s exactly why the scale is just one data point in my coaching. It’s not the whole picture and for most of the women I work with, it’s often one of the least useful ones.
When you shift your focus from simply losing weight to building a stronger, more capable body, everything changes.
Your training has more purpose.
Your nutrition has more purpose.
And instead of constantly asking, “How much do I weigh?”
You start asking:
💪🏻 “How strong am I?”
💪🏻 “How do my clothes fit?”
💪🏻 “Do I look and feel better?”
💪🏻 “What can I do now that I couldn’t do before?”
Those are the real wins!
So if you’re tired of chasing a number that never seems to make you feel the way you thought it would…
Maybe it’s time to stop shrinking and start building. DM me "PROGRESS" to find out more. 😃

It's 15 years! 🤯
But before you click away, hear me out. Because I'm not telling you that to overwhelm you. I'm telling you because those 15 years taught me something I wish someone had told me at the very beginning.
It was never supposed to have an end date!
I didn't start because I wanted to feel strong or capable or confident.
I started because I wanted to lose weight. That was it. That was my whole reason.
Strength training changed everything. But not in the way I expected.
Yes, I lost weight. Yes, I finally started seeing the shape and definition I'd been chasing.
But the bigger shift was in how I thought about all of it.
I stopped training to shrink. I started training to get stronger. And slowly, fitness stopped being something I did to punish myself and started being something I did because I genuinely loved what my body could do.
I wasn't training for a holiday. Or a wedding. Or to hit a number on the scale by a certain date.
I was building something that was going to carry me through my entire life.
15 years later, I still look forward to my sessions. Not because I'm trying to earn something or fix something. Just because strength training has become part of who I am.
That's what I want for the women I coach. Not a 6-week transformation. Not a quick fix before summer.
Something that becomes part of your life because it genuinely makes your life better.
If you're ready to build that, I'd love to help. DM me "BUILD" and let's chat! 💪🏻

👉 It’s OK to stop and walk!
Walking isn’t quitting, it’s strategy. Just like lowering the weight or taking a little longer between sets, it's about doing what lets you keep going.
No one wins a medal for making it harder than it needs to be!
👉 It’s OK to suck!
My first 10k back was 20 minutes slower than my old PB. TWENTY!! 🤯
Your first time in the gym might feel just as humbling. Doesn’t mean you're bad at it, it just means you're new to it.
👉 Progress takes longer than you would like!
But time is passing regardless. You can be 3 months into a programme, or 3 months into “I’ll start when I’m more confident".
Same 3 months!
👉 Consistency works!
Not the perfect plan, not the super fancy kit, not the ideal weather conditions.
Two sessions a week, most weeks, beats an amazing plan that you only do “perfectly” twice.
👉 Adapt instead of “F**K It!”
Some sessions feel strong, other sessions feel like your legs are filled with wet sand.
Just like in the gym, not every day is a day to push. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is adapt instead of force it. Ease the pace, shorten the run, or simply do what you can.
Both kinds of sessions count. Both move you forward.
A couple of hard truths I’ve landed on…
👉 Anything over 7 degrees is too hot for running! 🥵
👉 Hills are just plain rude, unnecessary and feel deeply personal! 🤣
The biggest lesson from getting back into running?
👉 You don't need to wait until you're ready.
You start where you are, build from there, and adapt along the way.
And what I do with my clients and strength training is exactly the same.
Because in 3 months, you could be exactly where I am, not perfect but consistent.
Stronger than you were. More confident walking into a gym. Actually proud of what your body can do!
The only difference between "someday" and "3 months from now" is starting today.
You don't need 12 years of consistency behind you to start.
Show up messy. Show up unsure. Show up anyway!
That's how strong gets built, one session at a time!
Ready to start? DM me "PROGRESS" and let's get you going. 💪

Imagine waking up with:
💃 more energy
💃 feeling stronger every single week
💃 actual confidence in the gym and out of it
💃 a relationship with food that doesn't feel like a constant battle
That CAN become your reality this year…
Just like it did for Leonie.
She has a busy life with work and looking after a toddler and struggled with consistency. She'd started and stopped many times before.
And she was nervous it would be too restrictive and that she wouldn't be able to stick to it.
But here's what she said herself… 👇
“The coaching was realistic and sustainable rather than restrictive, I appreciated having someone there to guide me and keep me accountable”
“I’ve last weight but my biggest changes were how much stronger and more confident I felt”
1½ stone down. Stronger and fitter than she'd ever been. More energy. More confidence.
And habits that finally fit around her actual life, not the other way around.
None of this came from being perfect.
It came from finally stopping trying to figure it all out alone.
If you're ready to do the same, message me "INTERESTED" and I'll walk you through everything. 🙂

Sarah had an all-inclusive holiday coming up and she was nervous to go away.
And I get it. She had been showing up putting in the work and everything was finally starting to click.
The last thing she wanted was to come home and feel like she was back to square one!
So before she left, we focused on three things:
✅ Mindset, not all-or-nothing
✅ Habits, like simple swaps and awareness
✅ Flexibility, hello freedom!
We didn’t aim for perfect. We aimed for intentional!
On holiday, she still…
💃 Enjoyed cocktails
💃 Ate dessert
💃 Skipped tracking
💃 Had beach days and the odd holiday snooze
💃 Moved her body each day
No feeling guilty or panic every meal time!
And guess what happened?
She came back feeling:
💥 Refreshed
💥 Confident
💥 Still in a bit of a routine
💥 No guilt
No “starting over”, just picking up where she left off!
The old her would’ve…
❌ Went into “holiday mode” weeks before
❌ Overdo it while away
❌ Feel gross after
❌ Crash diet on return
❌ Start over... yet again
But NOT this time!
Because building a stronger, leaner body doesn't mean sitting poolside with a sad salad while everyone else orders cocktails. 🍹
It means having the tools and the mindset to navigate real life, (holiday included) without it derailing everything you've worked for.
Holiday coming up and want to enjoy every single bit of it without the fear of blowing your progress?
I've put together a free guide that covers exactly how we do this inside my coaching.
Yes, you'll still get dessert. 😂
DM me or pop "HOLIDAY" in the comments and I'll send it straight to you.
