Not our day today, and if we’re honest with ourselves, the better side won. We struggled to get going at times and didn’t quite play the football we know we’re capable of, but plenty to take away and learn from as we move forward.

A big well done to Darryl, who calmly slotted away a beauty of a penalty for our goal 👏⚽️

Player of the Match goes to Nicole for her pace and skill on the wing, while also putting in the work tracking back and supporting defensively when needed. 💙

P.S. players are now officially barred from booking holidays during the season 👀😂 you know who you are!

Now we turn our attention to the league, with our first fixture away to Horsham on 6th September.

Erin joins the Bears midfield and completes our squad ahead of the new campaign.

Another great addition to the group, bringing plenty of energy, quality and competition in the middle of the pitch.

Welcome Naomi to the squad for the 26/27 season!

Coming out of retirement to join the Bears, Naomi brings plenty of experience from previous spells with Oxford City, Crawley Wasps and Chelsea.

🏆 IT’S FA CUP WEEKEND!

This Sunday, we begin our Women’s FA Cup journey as we welcome Official Burgess Hill Town FC Women to the Air Engineering Stadium for the Preliminary Round.
