Congratulations to Georgia! Our Player of the Match against Broadbridge Heath FC Women on Sunday at BBH's main ground. In very hot conditions Georgia was here, there and everywhere on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and scored the goal that put us a goal up in the second half before we conceded the game 2-1. Great performance Georgia - you did Canada proud!

It was hot, hot, hot when we stepped out onto the pitch on Sunday against our hosts Broadbridge Heath FC Women. This year the Eagles will be dipping their astros, moulds and studs into the recreational flexi league so a pre-season friendly against the Bears was a great opportunity to show what we can do. To raise a squad of 13 players we blended with our friends at Southwater FC and how glad we are we did! Thank you especially to Rachel (Southwater's very own Mary Burps!) for being our keeper and a safe pair of hands. We suffered the narrowest of defeats losing by just one goal but were thrilled at our performance on the day. We are looking forward to the season knowing now what we are capable of. Thank you so much to Emma and all the team, coaches, Will the referee, the BBH subs that kindly ran the line for us and finally Aston for opening the bar. A few cold beers after the game went down a treat 🍻

This Sunday (9th August) the Horsham Eagles FC Recreational Team are playing a friendly game against Broadbridge Heath Ladies. The Bears play in the Premier Division of the Sussex County Women’s League so this will be a great opportunity for us.

Kick off is midday. The ground is adjacent to The Bridge Leisure Centre, Broadbridge Heath with plenty of free parking.

Our captain for the day Milene Scott was voted undisputed player of the match... es (yes there were many of them as we got to the final!) for Horsham Eagles FC by her team mates at the Bexhill United Ladies FC tournament this weekend. Congratulations Milene you were sensational! We celebrate all the legends out there putting their bodies on the frontline diving, punching, protecting and saving goals each week - there's a reason you're 1! Go goalies!

Huge thanks to Bexhill United Ladies FC for hosting us all yesterday for their summer tournament. We were thrilled to be in the Flexi/Rec competition and to reach the final. Congratulations Fishersgate Flyers FC for being the victors having topped the qualifiers throughout the day. Great performances by all the teams that participated - you were tough to play against! Thanks to all the organisers, referees, linesmen and women, volunteers and supporters - without you there is no - you're the real winners ⚽😍🏆

Hey all you budding Queen of Stops out there (hail the legend who is Mary Earps) sadly our very own Super Stopper is returning to her native homeland. Frankie has been our incredible tournament and match goalkeeper for nearly two years and we are looking for any interested ladies who would like to give goalkeeping a go or have keeped in the past and looking to get back into football. We can offer specialist coaching from another goalkeeping local legend - our team coach - Simon Aburrow No previous experience needed - just get in touch with us if you're interested in a kickabout.
