This morning the ponies got a lovely cold bath. They loved it. 😊
Their fly rugs are freshly laundered so nothing better than a clean pony to put a clean rug on.
Won’t stay clean! 🙄

So nice to get the rugs off so they can groom each other. 🥰

Today this Beauty had a visit from the vet.
He injected her below the knee to see if if her lameness was coming from below there. But the result was negative. Still very lame, which means it’s coming from higher up.
This pony is so honest and hides discomfort to please us. Even the vet struggles to get her to react and read her. It’s a loveable trait but in this situation it is a disaster.
She was looking better since his last visit until Tuesday this week when she went extreme lame again.
So next week she is seeing the chiropractor and then we take it from there.
She’s not depressed. I am though! 🥹

Ponies making good use of the shelter these days. It’s really hot and muggy.
Roe is back to work and is being such a good boy for me. We are finding our rhythm.
Kitty has been on sick leave for some time now… she’s been very lame. Is now fully under vet assessments & crossing fingers his next visit is more positive.

Might not look it here but these two are seriously miserable. In VERY early as they are soaked! It’s not stopped raining all day!
Now tucking into some hay and a check later this evening 🥰

Storm Malik visited our little piece of heaven on Saturday…. 🐴 came in early. This was bedtime check around 10pm and the wind is so strong outside but the ponies are not fazed inside. 🥰
Just mummy who struggled to sleep through from worrying! 🤷‍♀️😂

Very Important.
