Well what a day. Storm Darragh caused my ferry to be cancelled. I found this out yesterday, Sunday afternoon. Given that the deceased’s funeral is booked for Wednesday I changed my ferry crossing from Holyhead to Cainryan, Scotland to Belfast. Setting off at 2.00am and a 6 hour drive only to have the ferry delayed by an hour and a half, the deceased was safely transported. Now for the journey back!! RIP

A wonderful service today at Lodge Hill Crematorium for a 100 year old navy veteran. A bugler played the last post at his committal and he was taken to the crematorium on a vintage Foden wagon. RIP

Today we had the honour of conducting the funeral of the late Becca Steer at St Agatha Church in Llanymynech. The villagers showed great respect walking behind the hearse from Becca’s home to the church for a wonderful ceremony. Much loved and very sadly missed by so many people. May you Rest in Peace

I received this email today, I thought it was so beautiful that it deserved sharing. It shows how much families appreciate the hard work myself and my team put into every funeral we conduct.
