🐶 Are dogs allowed at Holland Park Equestrian❓️

We 💙 dogs but we kindly ask that you don't bring dogs with you when visiting Holland Park Equestrian for a number of reasons*:

1️⃣ We have a very friendly yard cat 🐈 called Jake and he is very likely to come over and say Hello 👋
2️⃣ We have horses who live here and they will either be in their fields or turnout area and we want to minimise any disturbance to them 🐴
3️⃣ We cut the grass 🌱 in the middle of the XC course for hay & haylage & don't want to risk any 🐶💩 being in it.
4️⃣ We also run a secure dog field on site 🐾 Woofworthy which is in the field next to the XC course and some of the dogs who visit Woofworthy find the presence of other dogs difficult so we want to make sure everyone has an enjoyable time whilst they are here.

*HOWEVER...if a friend/family member wants to come with you whilst you are riding, then they are very welcome to book & bring the dog(s) to a session at Woofworthy at the same time (subject to availability). Please contact us in advance to discuss logistics, as the entrance for Woofworthy is different to that of HPE. 🌳🚶‍♂️🐕🚶‍♀️🌻
NB - if you are jumping (SJ or XC) you will still need another person (on foot or horseback) with you whilst you are riding. 👫👬👭

This is exactly what Cora & her family did today - whilst Cora was riding Remi in the arena, the dogs were having a great time with another member of the family - check out the video of them all🏇🐶

☀️ Come and enjoy the September sunshine with your horse this week ☀️

🐴 Holland Park Equestrian offers 3 facilities for hire:
🏇 A 20m x 40m arena for flatwork
🏇A set of show jumps on grass
🏇 A cross country schooling field with approximately 36 fences ranging from 30cm to 90cm. Most fences can be jumped in both directions.

🗺 We are based in Holsworthy, Devon.

❓️What height are the XC jumps at Holland Park Equestrian? 📏

We have over 3️⃣0️⃣ fences ranging from 20cm-90cm.

Check out the photos of the fences grouped into sizes. 📸🐴

All of the jumps (except the large chair) can be jumped in either direction so you can easily make a course of at least 24 fences or more if you are jumping a combination of different heights.

The field has flat and undulating sections so lots of variety to choose from. 🏞

This is the entrance to Holland Park Equestrian. ⬆️

The metal gates will be unlocked an hour before the first booking so please don't arrive more than an hour before your session. 🔒

Please ensure the rope is put across the gate on entry/exit to stop any loose horses getting onto the road. 🐎
