☕️🍕 WEEKEND CAFE STAFF WANTED! 🍕☕️

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to help us keep the café at Bishop’s Meadows Community Sports Park open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Applicants must be aged 18+.

The role will include:

• Opening and running the café
• Serving hot & cold drinks
• Preparing and serving food from our menu
• Taking customer orders and payments
• Keeping the café, seating areas and venue clean and tidy
• Providing a warm, welcoming service to everyone visiting the park

You’ll often be working independently, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, trustworthy, organised and happy to get stuck in.

The main hours will be Saturdays and Sundays, with the possibility of additional evening hours for events, private bookings and other activities at the venue.

Experience in a café, hospitality or customer service would be great, but the right attitude and reliability are just as important.

💚 SEPTEMBER UPDATE FROM BISHOP’S MEADOWS 💚

As the summer holidays come to an end, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Bishop’s Meadows Community Sports Park over the summer. ☀️

It’s been brilliant seeing so many families, children and adults using the park, joining our activities, visiting the café and supporting what we’re trying to build for the local community.

🍂 FROM TODAY – 1ST SEPTEMBER

As we move into autumn, we’ll be phasing down the regular opening hours of our café.

For the time being, we won’t be publishing set café opening hours. Where we’re able to open for weekends, events or other sessions, we’ll advertise these on our page, so please keep an eye out for updates. ☕🍕🍰

But this is really important…

🎾⚽ THE SPORTS PARK REMAINS OPEN!

Our tennis courts and football pitches will continue to be available EVERY DAY during daylight hours, even when the café isn’t open.

Fancy getting into tennis, returning after a break, or simply improving your game?

Our new Adult Beginner & Improver Tennis Course starts this September at Bishop’s Meadows Community Sports Park.
