We were prepared for the worst but hoping for the best… and it turns out we had a pretty much dry, storm-free day, with just a few trickles of rain! 🌦️⚽️

That meant our Football Fun Day and 2v2 tournament could go ahead in full swing, just as we’d hoped! 🙌

A huge well done to our winners🥇…and to everyone who came along and made it such a fun, competitive and enjoyable day!

A mix of sunshine and rain helped keep us cool whilst ennoying it out on the pitch today! We had plenty of promotion and relegation games that helped keep things competitive right until the end! 🔥

⚽️☀️💦 WATER FIGHT 💦☀️⚽️

With tomorrow looking extra warm, we’re planning a little water fight to help everyone keep cool while still having lots of fun in the sun! 💧

If your child wants to get involved, they’re very welcome to bring along a water weapon of choice🔫💦 -or, if not, they can simply join in by getting the coaches wet!

We’ll also be making sure everyone stays hydrated with extra water and shaded breaks throughout the day, plus a Tip Top Pit Stop to keep everyone refreshed and fuelled! 🍦

A few important reminders for tomorrow:

- Please apply sun cream before arriving and send some along for re-application throughout the day. 🧴
- Bring extra drinks, we’ll have regular water refills available too! 🧊
- Sun hats are highly recommended. 🧢
- A spare change of clothes might also be a good idea after the water fight although they will dry pretty quick anyway!

Most importantly… come ready for football, fun and a splash of water! ⚽️💦☀️
