We’re a non-profit club, so every penny goes back into maintaining and improving the courts and facilities.

Wednesdays 6pm–dusk (Adults)
Saturdays 4–6pm (Family)
Sundays 10am–12pm (Adults)

With two beautiful grass courts and LTA coaching available, it’s a brilliant place to play, improve, and meet others.

🎾 Tennis & Tipples 2026 – Ladies’ Social 🍷

Looking to try something new, get back into tennis, or simply enjoy a relaxed afternoon with great company? Join us at Helpston Lawn Tennis Club for a fun, friendly ladies-only tennis social, no experience needed!

We’ll have our female LTA coach on hand to run informal sessions, offer tips, and help everyone feel confident on court, whether you’re a complete beginner or haven’t picked up a racket in years.

Bring a bottle, bring a racket (we’ll have some spares), and come along for an afternoon of tennis, laughter and good company.

🎾 Tennis Lessons 2026 – Book Now!

Join us this summer at Helpston Lawn Tennis Club for fun, friendly and high-quality group coaching. Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or looking to develop their skills, our small group sessions are a great way to learn and improve.

Lesson Details:

- £45 (HLTC Members) / £55 (Non-members) for a block of 5 lessons
- Maximum 8 players per group (to ensure quality coaching)
- First block: Week commencing 8th June
- Second block: Week commencing 21st July

- Tuesday Lessons fully booked
- Thursday Sessions (spaces available)

4:00pm – Minis (Ages 8–10)
5:00pm – Juniors (Ages 11–14)

👉 Booking is first come, first served – secure your place early to avoid missing out!

🎾 We’re just over a week away from opening day!

Helpston Tennis Club reopens on 3rd May, and we’d absolutely love you to be part of it. Join us from 3pm for our Opening BBQ & Social. A great chance to catch up, meet other members, and kick off the season in style.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our annual Ground Force Day to help get the club ready for the new season! 🌿🎾

It was a beautiful morning and a real team effort, from spring cleaning the clubhouse, cutting back overgrown shrubs, refreshing the BBQ area with paint and new gravel, to plenty of weeding and general tidying. Most of all, it was fantastic to see such strong community spirit in action.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time, it really does make a difference and helps us create a welcoming space for all. The club is looking fantastic and ready to welcome you back when we open on 3rd May!

We’re just two weeks away from opening! 🎾

This weekend has seen an incredible effort from our volunteers to get the club ready, a huge thank you to everyone involved. The mowing team are in full swing, and over the coming weeks the courts will be measured and lined, all set for our opening on Sunday 3rd May. It’s full steam ahead!
