Our Warriors took a short drive to TIBS for their second successive away game of the season and started well.

Warriors opened the scoring in the first 2 minutes to take the lead, but were soon pegged back by the hosts withing 2 minutes. Warriors took the lead again and withing the first ten minutes, both teams were putting a right good display on for the spectators and their parents. It was the Warriors who went in at the break on the front foot.

The second half started at the same pace and the game continued to showcase a brilliant display of football. The Warriors midfield played some fantastic football with one and two touch, utilising the space on a really big pitch. Between Marco, William, Jackson, Harrison and Lucas the football was brilliant. Rory, Harry and Samuel from the back getting involved to start multiple attacks, as well as frustrating the TIBS attackers. Samuel up front, along with Georgia and Noah also caused problems all morning.

Freddie stood firm in goal for the Warriors, being called in to action on numerous occasions. An all round good morning. A POTM performance from Jackson, as well as Opposition Potm for Freddie and William

What an end-to-end game for the Lions! 🔥

A slow start from Seaton saw us go 2 goals behind

A big shoutout to Harry 👏 After we swapped our goalkeeper for our CB, Harry stepped out of goal and was absolutely solid at the back. 💪🦁 He adapted brilliantly to the change and put in a great defensive performance. 🔥⚽️

Louie M was absolutely outstanding in goal, making save after save to keep us in the game and giving the lads the chance to fight back. 🧤🔥

Austin and Joey found the net to bring us back into the game, but the boys had to fight back again after going a goal behind.

A fantastic run from Frankie saw him hit the post, with Austin following in to smash home the rebound! 💪⚽

Minutes later, Frankie got himself on the scoresheet, and in a game that just kept going from end to end, Frankie popped up again with a great finish to equalise once more for the Lions! 👏🔥

Then came another moment of quality — an outstanding free kick from Austin! 🎯⚽

A brilliant battling performance from every single lad. They kept fighting every time they went behind and never gave up! 🦁❤️

Kader Juniors 4 Seaton Carew Sharks 1
TJFA Division 1

The Sharks suffered defeat against a strong Kader side in windy conditions that certainly weren’t ideal for football.

Kicking against the wind in the first half, the Sharks got off to the worst possible start, conceding inside the opening couple of minutes.

They responded well and created numerous chances at the other end, but a combination of poor finishing and some excellent goalkeeping kept them out. Unfortunately, defensive mistakes proved costly and Kader took full advantage to send the Sharks into the break 3-0 down.

The second half saw chances at both ends. The home side extended their lead from the penalty spot before the Sharks finally got the goal their attacking play deserved, with Finn Millican powering home a header from a Tommy Palmer corner.

A disappointing result ultimately decided by defensive errors and not being clinical enough in front of goal. The opposition goalkeeper being named Player of the Match probably tells its own story.

Despite the scoreline, the boys certainly put a shift in and battled right until the final whistle, which was pleasing to see. On another day, with a little more composure in both boxes, the result could have looked very different – but that’s football. Lessons to learn and we move on.

The boys will dust themselves down and look to put things right when we return to league action in two weeks.

Seaton Predators 2-0 Seaton Athletic u12s
TJFA Div1 - Red Division

Seaton predators started bright, a whipped free kick from Oliver Palmer sailed just over the bar. Lee Wright forced a good save from Isaac Laight & Junior Myers hit the post as he bounded through on goal.

Although Predators impressed in the first half, athletic seemed dangerous on the counter, with Quinn Horwood nearly scoring from the right wing. Jacob Jeffries then came close for predators but Isaac Laight was once again, equal to the effort.

The second half saw predators gain the lead, brilliant work down the right wing from Finley Dawson found junior Myers in the middle, junior put his first effort over the bar from close range. Only forgivable as it was his birthday & we knew he would score at some point.

A few minutes later, and Finley delivered again from the right, this time; no mistakes from junior who found the net in junior fashion.

By no means was the game over; Seaton athletic bounced back & put predators under heavy pressure. Great efforts from harry laight & bobby smith forced top saves from Harry Lees.

Two wicked corners from Quinn & a goal mouth scramble were somehow kept out by Harry Lee's & Luca Neary! Seaton Predators had to defend like animals as Seaton athletic piled on the pressure; for the next 15minutes. Further saves from Harry Lees & good defending from Parker, Luca, james marshall & Will Gray kept Seaton athletic from scoring.

Following, the heavy pressure from athletic, predators finally bounced back in the last 10 minutes; efforts from Lee Wright & Oliver Palmer couldn't find the net from the edge of the box. However, a nice one-two from Oliver & Jacob Jeffries down the right found Oliver unmarked in the area & he slotted home from close range to seal the win for the predators.

Jacob Carter, Teddy Al-Deek & James Marshall were solid in the final stages to defend the clean sheet for predators, with parker Colligen & Will Gray working tirelessly in full back positions. MoTM went to Harry Lees and Luca Neary for their second half displays for predators.

A Seaton derby played in good spirits. Two top Seaton teams playing at the highest level of the TJFA; was a great watch for the parents and fans this morning.

U10 Tigers

The Tigers continued their unbeaten start to the season with a hotly contested game against Darlington United.

Sporting their new home strips for the first time, the Tigers rallied from the off, passing the ball around well and stretching the away team, but it was Darlo who were to take the lead, when their attacker got in behind the defence to slot home. This spurred the Tigers on, and Zain soon equalled the score with a typical left foot hammer from the edge of the box. The Tigers continued to press, and the game was becoming a real midfield battle, and with this, Seaton won a free kick inside their own half. Joshy stepped up for the 2nd week in a row to deliver a superb ball, finished by an incredible over the shoulder volley from Alexander to put the Tigers ahead. This was short lived though, as a handball in the box awarded DU a penatly, in which they buried away, making the game level going into half time.

Into the 2nd half, and the boys were challenged to win control, and start backing themselves. This was executed brilliantly, as Zaylan found Bhodi to who made no mistakes in dribbling past 3 players to slot home from a tight angle. A misplaced DU pass found its way back to Joshua, who seeing Johny making the run, picked him out, for Johny to cooly and calmly extend the Tigers lead. A mix up in defence allowed DU to pull a goal back, before they managed to equalise through a controversial goal.

That gave the Tigers fire in thier bellies though, and a wonderful through ball from Jacob found Zain, who once again unleashed an unstoppable shot into the side of the goal to give the Tigers the lead.

Resolute defending kept the threat at bay for the remainder, with Thomas, Charlie, Lucas and Samson working hard to clear the danger.

Into the development game, the Tigers continued to play great football, resulting in 2 superbly taken goals by Seb, who was unlucky not to score earlier in the match with 2 outstanding shots.

OPOTM went to Bhodi, who was everywhere, played 4 positions and caused problems to the away team all game.

CPOTM went to Charlie, for 2nd week in a row. Rock solid in defence, making winning the ball look effortless, and his superb clearances getting the Tigers on the front foot.

Seaton Warriors U13 6–2 Bishop Auckland St Mary’s – TJFA

The Warriors got their season well underway today with a dominant win over a resilient Bishop Auckland side.

Enzo opened the scoring with a great header after a fantastic cross from Alex.

Austin then doubled the lead with a great finish before adding his second of the game moments later.

Tom, Oscar and Mason were solid defensively, while Freddie scooped up every loose ball in the middle, constantly getting the lads back on the attack.

Soon, Jake showcased his dazzling skill and added his name to the scoresheet with a neat finish.

The boys didn’t relent in the second half, with Jake beating his man before squaring it to Enzo, who made no mistake to put the game to bed.

Bishop began to fight back and pulled two goals back, which woke the Warriors back up and got them playing football again.

Elijah put in a fantastic shift at left-back, winning his 50:50s and battling for everything.

Enzo then completed the scoring with a left-footed finish to seal the perfect hat-trick — left foot, right foot and header. ⚽⚽⚽

A great result and a top performance to build on as the season gets underway.

A recent positional change has seen our once-striker become a top, top defender. He’s improving game by game and added another excellent performance to his record today. Solid defensively throughout!

🦈 Seaton Sharks v New Marske 🦈

The Shark lads were back at Hornby Park for another home game, looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat.

Continuing to build on the previous few weeks, the football being played was once again excellent, with some really good attacking moves and plenty of positive play.

The Sharks opened the scoring after some great link-up play between Harry L and Frankie, with Frankie finishing nicely into the bottom corner. Joe then doubled the lead with a long-range strike which took a deflection, sending the keeper the wrong way.
The lads continued to build on their lead, with Frankie grabbing his second of the game after being set up brilliantly by Will. Frankie then completed his hat-trick just before half-time, again assisted by Will, rounding off an excellent first-half display. ⚽⚽⚽

Changes were made at half-time and it was certainly a game of two halves. New Marske came out with real determination and scored two goals in quick succession, before adding another excellent strike from distance into the top corner.
The Sharks, however, managed to maintain their lead and then put the game beyond doubt when Will fired home a solid strike, set up by Arthur. A great finish to seal the win.

Game Two

We made a few more changes for the second game and the boys continued exactly where they had left off.
The first goal came from Clarky, who volleyed home directly from Teddy’s corner. What a finish! Jude then grabbed the second with a low, powerful effort, assisted by Jacob.
Jacob got himself on the scoresheet soon after with another powerful strike, assisted by Alfie. The scoring was rounded off by Clarky, who grabbed his second goal of the game with another fantastic strike.

Overall, it was a hard-fought victory for the lads. If we had taken all of our chances, the game would have been out of sight much earlier, but we were very pleased to come away with the win and, once again, another excellent team performance.

Alfie made a couple of decent stops today and had a good run out in Game Two.
Arthur had another solid game, bombing forward when he could and reading the game really well.
TJ played out well from the back and looked really comfortable once again.
Harry L made some really good runs and linked the play up well. Unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet.
Joe worked hard both attacking and defensively, made some good runs and deliveries, and took his goal really well.
William was absolutely solid in the middle of the park, controlled the game and worked his socks off from start to finish.
Frankie, the hat-trick hero, had a fantastic run out and scored three very good goals. A brilliant first-half performance!
Teddy and Sam both featured on the wings. Sam was unlucky not to score with an effort from distance, while Teddy looked really tricky and caused problems on the wing.
Jude had a good run out, particularly in the second game, getting on the ball well, putting some tackles in and getting himself a goal.
Jacob showed some good attacking play and got himself on the scoresheet with another good goal.
Clarky did really well at the back, playing out comfortably and showing his quality with two great goals.

Frankie put in a cracking first-half display, with great finishing and fantastic link-up play. Three excellent goals to complete his hat-trick. Well done, Frankie!

Will’s work can often go unnoticed, but he was absolutely solid today, ran the middle of the park and put in a fantastic shift for the team. A really composed and hardworking performance.
Well done, Will!

👏 Well done to the U9 United boys!
A dominant first-half display set the boys on their way to another excellent team performance against NYSA Whites.
The boys were quick out of the traps and never allowed the opposition to settle, pressing hard and challenging for every ball.
There was also some fantastic passing football on display, with the communication on the pitch perhaps the most pleasing aspect of the day. The boys were demanding plenty from each other and showing great togetherness throughout.
👏 Well done to our goal scorers OLIVER, HARLEN, DYLAN and AVI.

A brilliant performance from OLIVER, who set the tone from the start, worked tirelessly up and down the pitch and capped off his display with a hat-trick.
