Scott Williams has bravely admitted to crying on tour during a nightmare season as he battled dartitis:

🗣️ “It was tough to start with because you don’t want to admit you've got it. You just feel like something is going wrong. There was a lot going on in my personal life.

“I had a darts shop and I started to coach as well which was going great. But what I did I seemed to put all my effort and time into that. Which then my game went down. Then I was financially looking after the shop with my own money not the investors’ money or somebody else’s.

“There was so much pressure. It was hard and really tough. The UK Open this year was one of the toughest ones. I was playing Benjamin Pratnemar and all of a sudden I got so uncomfortable I couldn’t release a dart. I cried on the tour a couple of times on the tour this year. I won the couple of games I cried. I went back to my manager and my wife was there. I was like I don’t know why.”
