Another incredible week of training in the books for my wonderful team that refuses to settle for average

The average UK woman is over weight & under active but these wonderful women are actively choosing a different path.

They show up, support each other, and break boundaries every single day.

Proud to be surrounded by women who are committed to showing up for themselves, focused on building strength, building confidence and want to be part of a positive community that lifts each other up.

You know yourself better than anyone else.

You know what matters to you.
You know what you enjoy.
You know what you’re not willing to give up.
And you probably know the things you’d struggle to stop doing, even in pursuit of a big goal.

And yet… when it comes to setting goals, so many of us throw all of that out the window.

We set the goal first, then try to force ourselves into a version of life that doesn’t actually fit us.

Good goal setting is different.

It takes all of that into account. Your values, your priorities, your non negotiables, the things you love and the life you actually want to live.

Because the goal shouldn’t require you to become someone else to achieve it. (Unless you want to!)

Really looking forward to spending some time on exactly this with a small group of my ladies next weekend 🙌🏻🖤

I’m not offended…

Seems like I disagree with most of the internet but I have to say, as I women, I personally am in no way offended by the Sydney Sweeney advert

An actress, half naked in an advert for a gambling company she’s a shareholder in does not detract from women’s sporting achievements or accolades

She’s not your kids PE teacher, she’s an actress in a clever marketing campaign that did what it set out to do- get people talking

If she was your mate, sister or client you’d be telling her how great she looked and cheering her on

But this is the fine line women are expected to walk…

On the one hand we’re telling women to love their bodies but on the other hand… not too much☝️🖤

Some of my wonderful team getting after it this week ✨

First week back to work after holiday and honestly I’m not mad about it…

At points in my life I’ve dreaded coming home from holiday because I didn’t like the life I was going back to

But I’ve come back to a team of people I like working with, doing what I love to do

And I’ve welcomed 4 lovely newbies on board who I know will be a great edition to the team

“Ey yo Adrienne?!”

Had such a great chat with a client today who told me they went to a party recently and got a ton of compliments but more importantly, they went and they felt amazing in their own skin 🙏

And that’s the intangible, unexplainable, priceless thing that you get when you start showing up for yourself

A number on the scale doesn’t make you feel sexy or confident but putting the hard work in and giving yourself data that you can do hard things absolutely does

And a lot of people miss that it and focus on the wrong thing…

It’s the journey that makes you the person you want to be, not the end result and I wouldn’t give the gift or my journey or any of the people I’ve worked with away for anything ✨🖤
