MATCH REPORT . Clee town u14 jpl v GCW u15 We took on last years blue league runners up , a year older . We really really played some good stuff in this game , against a big strong physical team . What was pleasing was a really focused performance for 70 minutes . We dealt with the odd Drop in momentum very quickly , By tidying things up and getting up the pitch and regaining control , and not getting dragged into a sustained dogfight , Which shows a good maturity for lads of 13 . Scorers kenzie x 3 George x 4 , Lucas x 1 Issac b x 2 olly x 1 Edward x 1 . Into our last pre season game Saturday vs. Rotherham schools . 🦉 🦉

Match report . Clee town u14 jpl - 4 vs clee town 1998 u15 - 1 . Entertaining an orange league team a year older was always gonna be a good test . We started really really brightly , The first half we created chance after chance , Probaly the best football we have played this pre season , Taking a 2 nil lead into hslf time . The second half the older clee team came more into the game , But we stood tall and continued to play some good stuff . Clee u15s pulled one back , Then we finally get the score line we deserved , with two goals in the last few minutes. Showing the importance of keeping going . Goal scorers were kenzie x 2 , Lucas x 1 and olly x 1 . Great to have Marcus Newell down also to take in the game and meet the lads 🦉🦉 . Speaking to a few ex playing colleagues , we might build a little fan base this season . That is only a good thing ❤️❤️

⚽️ CLEE TOWN V GCW ⚽️ Today we entertained gcw colts at the linden club . Respect to gcw for taking the game at short notice and really battling hard and at the same time psssing the ball well . Having starting out in may Today we talked of the next phase of our journey . We’re trust really starts to build And any doubts when starting out in a new group begin to fade . 3 weeks from the season we asked the lads to really express themselves , sharp minds but relaxed on the ball . And we very much was that , on a typical august pitch . We played some nice football , worked our socks off , and started to build relationships all over the pitch . Many thanks to the club For letting us use the very smart facilities. The lads really took to that I could feel that , It’s what it’s all about . Aspirations good environment good culture . Then enjoyment comes in the main . Scorers were Kenzie Parker x 3 . Lucas kitt x 3 and George Williams x 2 . Well done to the others. ⚽️ ⚽️ Saturdays Lincolnshire derby vs Boston United , at the linden club is nearly upon us ⭐ ⭐ After a mid pre season break game wise with holidays , The lads will be chomping at the bit to get out there ❤️❤️. Boston are a 5th tier club , the acadamy teams train twice a week , so it will be a stern test , but a test we can handle I’m sure . We will also potentially all being well have an old friend ,colleague and gaffer of mine , Marcus Newell in the dressing room and on the touch line with us ❤️❤️. ⚽️ ⚽️ today we entertained Scunthorpe schools district in an entertaining 4 2 defeat . Scunny have been together a few seasons and are a well drilled team . We matched them in periods and there were chances at both ends . There were some standout performances from kenzie and Issac k today both immmense . We lost our way for a 15 minute period , and found ourselves 3 nil down . This is football , the higher you go , these spells are punished . We dug in and got two goals and had a little redemption. ❤️❤️. Positives to take and negatives to be worked on . Footballs 80 per cent a mental game . We go again and look forward . Special mention to Keenan , who hasn’t played football for too long and not at the level of the others , but his heart and desire were rewarded with two great finishes. 🦉🦉 we go again .
