Easterhouse Football Academy have set up a free boot table with a wide range of styles and sizes to help keep football accessible for everyone. The last time the table was out, every pair was taken, showing the demand for boots across the city.

LEAGUE CUP GAME

Penalty Nightmares Put to Bed! 😱⚽️

What a morning for the boys! 🔵⚪️

Penalties haven’t always been kind to Bedlay, but today we finally turned the tables in dramatic fashion! With just one spot-kick away from defeat, the boys showed incredible composure to turn the tie around and get the job done. 💪

It wasn’t our best performance, but after being in action 5 times in the last 8 days, the boys deserve plenty of credit. And the reward? We’re now just ONE point away from an incredible FOUR SEMI-FINALS IN A ROW! 🤯👏

A few special mentions today:

⭐️ Zak – thrown into the mix early and handled a tough game brilliantly with his trademark quick, controlled passing.

🧱 Daniel – another rock-solid performance at centre-back. Picking up right where he left off last season.

⚽️ Lewis McLeod – an unbelievable goal and his determination was exactly what we needed when the game was on the line.

🎯 All our penalty takers – huge credit for stepping up under pressure. Special congratulations to Archie for a sweet strike and Austin for the glory kick! You deserve that moment, wee man! 👏

🧤 Ryan – take a bow! A Panenka penalty followed by TWO penalty saves to swing the tie back in our favour. Absolutely different class! 👏🔥

Today was a good lesson that we can’t switch off for even a second. Plenty to think about, but most importantly, we found a way to win.

Another step forward. Another big moment for this amazing squad!!

What a debut for our three new boys! ⚽️

All three getting on the scoresheet as Bedlay followed up Saturday’s result with another fantastic win, a clean sheet and a brilliant team performance. 👏🔵⚪️

Goals from Timmy, Jay & Lewis Maxwell, with Jay also picking up Player of the Match after a superb display. 👏🏆

From goalkeeper to striker, the whole squad stepped up tonight. The teamwork, confidence and enjoyment are really starting to show, and the competition for places is fantastic!

Too Hot to Handle! 🔥

What a way to start our new campaign with a great display of Bedlay’s brilliance. 💫

A flawless performance from every squad member seen the boys stroll to a comfortable 4-1 victory against an unknown opposition.

The scoreline is good but the performance was better, with every player staying true to the principles laid down in training, make brave decisions! With slick passing, combined with hard graft and winning attitude meant we got the win.

It’s safe to say the 3 new signings have added a touch of class to proceedings with Timmy’s tireless wing play, Jay’s no nonsense graft and Lewis Maxwell’s dazzling footwork and power. ✍🏻

Standout performances all round with Robbie Anmol and Matthew all setting high standards.🔝

One player stood out however bagging a hat-trick and an assist coupled with a great work ethic, he is unplayable in this form.
Well done Lewis McLeod! 🥇 when you’re smiling no opponent has the answer.

We would like to note that this was a complete squad performance, with every player excelling in their own unique way.

A great start to the season… hopefully more results like this to follow 💪🏻
