Took us a while to get going and the first half was definitely a battle, but the effort and attitude from the boys never dropped once. They kept working, kept fighting and once we settled into the game the football started to come 👏🏻⚽️

Second half was a completely different level. The passing was sharper, the energy lifted and the boys started playing the type of football we know they’re capable of 🔥

Once the boys realised the grass wasn’t going to attack them, it turned into a training session at times. Comfortable on the ball, winning tackles everywhere, and passing it about for fun 👏🏻

The football the boys played today was brilliant to watch. Calm out from the back, sharp passing, loads of movement, and total control for most of the game 🔥
