Friday night under the lights at The Ibrox Complex.
We were up against a Clyde Apollo side that went unbeaten in their league last season, so we knew we'd be in for a tough test.
Sparta came away with a hard-fought 1β0 victory thanks to some heroic defending, outstanding saves from both of our goalkeepers, and a stunning 25-yard strike from the ever-reliable Michael Lieser. His effort clipped the underside of the bar on its way in, and that proved enough for TΜΆhΜΆiΜΆsΜΆtΜΆlΜΆeΜΆ Sparta to earn another positive pre-season result.
A brilliant workout against a top side as preparations continue for the new season.
We'd also like to wish everyone at Clyde Apollo the very best in the Premiership next season.
