Residents across the city are being invited to help shape the future of shared e-bike parking, as Voi asks the public where new designated parking locations should be installed next.

The micromobility company, which operates the city’s e-bike scheme, says it is looking for suggestions for areas that currently do not have designated Voi parking locations but could benefit from them.

Designated parking areas are marked zones where riders must leave their scooters at the end of a trip. Expanding the network of these parking spots is intended to make the service more accessible while keeping pavements clear and organised.

Voi says community input is vital to deciding where the next locations should be placed.

Residents are being asked to think about places such as:

*Busy transport hubs

*Shopping streets and local high streets

*Parks and recreational areas

*University campuses

*Residential neighbourhoods that currently lack nearby parking zones

A spokesperson for Voi said the company wants to ensure the service works for as many people as possible across the city.

β€œWe’re keen to hear from residents about where they would like to see new Voi parking locations. If there are areas of the city not currently served by parking bays, we want to know about them.”

Members of the public are encouraged to submit suggestions for specific streets, landmarks, or neighbourhoods where new parking zones could be introduced.

Residents can share their ideas and suggest new parking locations by visiting:
https://parking.voi.com/verify-email?type=parking

Suggestions will be reviewed to help identify potential future sites for the scheme as the network of Voi parking locations continues to expand across the city.
