Shim Mheuka has arrived in Glasgow after completing a season long loan deal from Chelsea

Celtic have made a bid for Feyenoord right-back Jordan Lotomba.

The Hoops are in the market for a right-back to cover for the injured Alistair Johnston before tomorrow's UEFA deadline.

Johnston is out until the end of October.

Lotomba, 28, is a Switzerland international. He has one year left on his Feyenoord contract.

UPDATE: Celtic are working to finalise a deal for Chelsea left-back Landon Emenalo.

It’s believed all parties are hopeful of concluding a deal tonight.

The 18-year-old is expected to join on a straight season-long loan deal.

Emenalo picked up a knock in training with Chelsea and has been allowed to recover before finalising the paperwork on the move.

UPDATE: Celtic are close to agreeing a deal for Torino midfielder Gvidas Gineitis.

It’s understood talks have progressed well today and have reached an advanced stage.

The Lithuania international, 22, is said to be keen to join the Scottish champions.

Gineitis has been Celtic’s prime central midfield target this summer.
