Family focused and friendly community cricket club in Paisley. An ideal environment for everyone to play cricket; from serious cricketers to beginners.

Ferguslie Cricket Club was founded in 1887 and has become one of the most successful and renowned sports clubs in Paisley. Based at the splendidly appointed ground at Meikleriggs, Ferguslie Cricket Club field three senior teams into national, regional and local competitions. Youth development is at the forefront of the Club with youth teams spanning six age groups participating each week in a variety of competitions, with a number of players from our youth programme representing Scotland.

Unfortunately today’s McCulloch Cup semi final is off due to the heavy overnight rain. ☔️

Reserve date is scheduled for next Sunday 6th September 2026.

The 2nd XI secured a double win Saturday as they had an 8-wicket win over Stenhousemuir, chasing down 148 with plenty to spare. 👏

Ethan Hebberman 50* led the way, with Greg Shaw picking up 3-30 with the ball. 🔥

A brilliant effort from both teams!

A fantastic 127 from Michael English helped us post 254, with Michael finishing the season as the WDCU Premiership 1 top run scorer with 611 runs at an average of 55 🔫

Stenhousemuir put up a great fight, but 3 wickets apiece for Saif Sajjad and Haroon Tahir saw us defend our total and secure an 11-run victory 💪

A brilliant way to finish the league season! 👏
