We LOVED learning even more about ! 🇮🇹☕

Fun fact: 14 years ago, we sent a Tweet to La Marzocco HQ in Italy asking if we could sell their espresso machines in Scotland.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Lorenzo replied saying was launching any day... We jumped on it, brought these incredible pieces of kit to independent coffee shops around Scotland, and the rest is history! 🛠️✨

We’re so proud to have maintained this partnership and friendship with a true master of engineering. It was an absolute privilege to host the LM team at Dear Green this week!

Huge thanks to everyone who came along to our Meet the Maker showcase to dive into the rich history, pioneering tech, and timeless design of La Marzocco.

Extra special thanks to:
👉 The LMUK Crew (Anson, Maria & Milly) for bringing the Strada X, the Jay Grinder, and the top-tier vibes!
👉 The Dear Green Team (Alex, Stine, Soren & Lisa) for slinging Negronis, Pizzas, natas, and hosting a legendary quick-fire coffee quiz! 🔥

Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was amazing to see you all! Until next time! 🤟💚

IT’S BACK! 🎊

The return of a Dear Green favourite, Burundi - Mutambu Hill 👋✨

Switch up your daily brew with something bright, sweet, and bursting with character. This delicious coffee delivers on so many levels. 💫

Grown in the stunning high-altitude volcanic soil of Rural Bujumbura by 384 amazing smallholder family farms, this Red Bourbon lot is an absolute treat. 🇧🇮

What’s in the cup? 👇
🍊 TANGERINE – vibrant citrus acidity
🍇 BRAMBLE – a pop of juicy berry.
🍯 SUGARCANE – smooth and sweet

Whether you brew it as a crisp filter or a vibrant espresso, it’s a crowd-pleaser. In this weather we’re adding ice to our espresso with a dash of tonic water! 👌

Grab a bag and taste the incredible hard work of the wonderful farmers of Mutambu Hill. 🏞️

Brazil (grown) 🇧🇷 x Scotland (roasted) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Perfect timing for the return of our Summer Solstice coffee. ⚽️

Every year, Summer Solstice is designed around the same target: a round, structured body with intense citrus and tropical fruit notes, honey-like sweetness, and a clean malic acidity. 🙌

Daterra is the world’s first B Corp certified coffee farm. Across their 6,400 hectare estate in Brazil’s Cerrado region, that commitment runs through water conservation, solar power, waste reduction, staff education, and ongoing genetic research into new varieties.☀️

Their approach to coffee production is distinctive. Rather than starting with a process or variety and seeing what profile results, Daterra design a flavour profile first, then select the variety, processing method, and drying technique to achieve it. 🍒

A tree-dried natural process uses only cherries that have dried on the branch rather than on raised beds or patios. The cherry reaches full maturation before it’s picked, concentrating sweetness and building complexity. Tree-drying is only possible in Cerrado, where the climate is dry, warm, and stable with sharply defined seasons - conditions rare enough that this process isn’t available to most farms in the world. 💚
