What a season it has been for Glasgow Cyclones Cycle Speedway Club!

The 2026 Scottish League has once again delivered some fantastic racing, close battles and plenty of hard-fought heats across Scotland and the North East.

For the Cyclones, it has been a season of progress, development and some seriously competitive racing. We’ve battled against some of the strongest riders and teams in the league, with every round providing new challenges and opportunities to improve.

A particular highlight was hosting Round 4, welcoming our fellow teams and riders to Glasgow. Fife took the round win with an impressive 54 points, but the day was about much more than the results — it was another great advert for cycle speedway and a fantastic day of racing.

The final round of the series took place at Cramlington, bringing the 2026 Scottish League campaign to a close. Fife ultimately secured the overall Senior Scottish League championship after another strong season.

💙💛 For Glasgow Cyclones, though, the bigger picture is looking very positive.

We continue to build our team, develop our riders and attract new people into the sport. Riders such as Andy Macdougall , Colin Mc Tumble, Peter Hopley and Tomasz Majorke have played important roles in the club's challenge this season, and the strength and depth of the team continues to grow.

A massive THANK YOU to every rider who represented the Cyclones this season, everyone who travelled to support the team, our volunteers, officials, supporters and everyone who helped make our home meetings happen.

👏 Congratulations to Fife Cycle Speedway on winning the 2026 Scottish League.

And to Edinburgh Falcons, Northumbria Vikings and Border Raiders — thank you for another brilliant season of racing.

The league may be finished, but the work doesn't stop here...
