Great energy, sharp shuttles, and brilliant camaraderie at the University of Dundee!
It was fantastic to see and hear masters players from Dundee and beyond pushing their limits and bringing their A-game to the latest session organised by the Masters Group.

Belgian Senior Open Highlights
* Doubles Champion (Women’s 65+/70+): Huge congratulations to Christine Black, who took top honors in the Women’s 65+/70+ doubles alongside her Dutch partner, Marjan Ridder! The duo finished undefeated at the top of their group, sealing victory ahead of runners-up Karin Kurth and Karin Viermann (Germany). 🥇
* Singles Runner-Up (Women’s 65+/70+): Christine also earned a impressive silver medal in the Women’s 65+/70+ singles event, putting up a hard-fought battle in the final against England’s Susan Tooke (19-21, 15-21). 🥈
* European Championship Venue: Dan Travers and Aileen Travers travelled to Heusden-Zolder, Belgium—returning to the same venue where the European Senior Championships were held back in 2024.
* Mixed Doubles Update: Unfortunately, Dan has been struggling with an injury and was forced to withdraw from the mixed doubles event. Wishing Dan a full and speedy recovery!
Looking Ahead to Italy
The Scots travelled to Belgium to gain valuable match exposure and competitive sharpness prior to the upcoming European Senior Championships in Italy. 🇮🇹.
