Last week our boys took part in the Ayr international Land o burns cup .
Again they were an absoloute credit to themselves and the club , they came through the group stage then came from behind to win in the semi final only to be defeated in the final which with a full squad we feel we could have won another cup like the previous two 🏆🏆

With some of our boys missing through injury and more being injured in the tournament we had to play one of our goalkeepers in the outfield position and no substities in the final against the local favourites which was just a bridge too far & congratulations to the winners 👏

However once again these kids have excelled and showed how competitive they can be on there day reaching another final .

We now go into league & cup business against some really strong teams as we try to compete as high as we possibly can , the squad is looking really thin going into the coming games with injuries as the boys continue to grow and we are looking to recruit a couple of advanced level players to boost the squad for anyone ready to challenge themselves and join a fantastic group of boys as we look to kick on and develop in what is a fantastic enviroment for football .

The coaches and parents are really proud of this group and cant wait to see what the future holds for these talented boys .

Today our boys took in there first challenge at 11 a side football competing in a tournament where we played 3 and won 3 resulting in the boys taking home there second ever trophy .
This was there first taste of 11 a side football and they have a lot to learn in terms of positioning on the pitch in and out of posession of the ball as well as trying different things as a coaching staff to help them along the way in terms of formations , style of play etc
To the boys tremendous credit though you would think they had been playing 11 a side football for years because they were absoloutley outstanding and deservedly won the trophy . They knew they needed a draw in the last game but we want to be aggressive and play to score goals and win games of football and thats what they did .
A huge thanks & massive respect to each of our opponents who we wish all the best for there upcoming seasons 👏

The boys finished there last game at 9 a side today in emphatic style .

A tremendous all round team performance with some individual moments of magic as well as some great passages of football in our last game of 9's before we transition to 11 a side football .

The boys worked hard both on and off the ball and showed a lot of desire to finish the season strongly and where rewarded with some unbelievable goals

Credit to on the ball for sticking to there game plan throughout the game of being patient and trying to play out from the back this will no doubt set them in good stead for the future and we wish them all the best going forward.

As for us we finish the season the way we started it positivley with a good win , we now look to add to the squad strengthen and look forward to a busy summer of tournaments ahead 🔴⚫️⚪️
