Two mahoosive ticks this week! Am Buachaille sea stack in Sutherland and The Needle at Shelterstone in the Cairngorms. Great weather ☀️, top banter, amazing climbing and two unforgettable adventures.

A brilliant day of scrambling, route-finding, decision-making, and plenty of opportunities to learn and build experience during my consolidation period. Days like these are exactly why I love being in the mountains.

Last Saturday chasing the sun for some dry rock with . Costa del Moray delivered ☀️. First time at Logie Head, cracking little spot. First trad day of the season, soo good to be out on rock again. First day out with my new Shelterstone pack, great bag thanks !!

Sometimes a good hill day with a friend is all you need to clear the head. Not many views on the tops but some beautiful light when we dropped below the clag.
Beinn Eibhinn, Aonoch Beag & Gael Charn. Lesser travelled Munros.

Taking full advantage of the good weather with a visit to Ring Crags in Ardnamurchan yesterday with and Steven Po***ck. Amazing location and fantastic climbing. Definitely worth a visit for anyone who hasn't been.

Brilliant day on the Aonach Eagach yesterday. The forecast appeared to keep everyone away as we had the whole ridge to ourselves. And apart from a couple of showers it was actually pretty dry. Great to get out with my old mate . Lots of practice moving together, scree surfing (and pints!)
