Blackbelt World Champion
The Griphouse has been around a long time and our athletes have had a wild degree of success over the past couple of decades.
What Shay achieved on Saturday is as big an achievement as any we have seen.
Winning a blackbelt world title is massively difficult task to pull off and should receive much more recognition than it will get in Scottish media.
In an era where self promotion and self aggrandising is the norm, Shay has gone about improving his skills, coming back from surgery, building a community, helping others around him and generally just being super sound.

What an amazing three-quarters of a year it’s been with Results Gym Forfar, Results Gym Blairgowrie and Resukts Gym Arbroath!
We’ve gone from strength to strength, laying down a solid foundation for the future. Classes are bustling without compromising on quality, and the skills everyone is starting to display are so encouraging!
A big thank you to George Bertie for the opportunity to focus on coaching as we build a platform that will be a force for years to come. Thanks, fellow diabetes warrior!
Thank you to each and every person that has walked through the door. You guys have enriched our experience and I appreciate your contribution.

From this Saturday 9AM we have a dedicated MMA class . Results Gym Forfar.
If you want to fight, develop skills for self defense or want to have fun training then this is for you.
