Krakens Softball Club is based in Portsmouth, England. We are a co-ed softball team welcoming adults of all ages to the team and the sport.

And there we have it. Our first season complete. Winning division two and then SECOND PLACE out of the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT at Cardiff Lastball. It’s been an unbelievable achievement for everyone this year. Captain Em has lead us to considerable victories and silverware and it’s time to hang up our gloves and bats for another six months. Thanks for all the support and love. The next step is end of season celebrations and a well earned rest 🥎

Our first league season completed and we won the league with a 9-1 record 🥎 We’ve played with an unbelievable spirit and attitude this year and it’s really paid off. One more softball weekend in Cardiff then we can rest our bats until 2027 and Division One!

We’ve done it!! Our first season as a team and we’ve won Division Two!! We are all so proud of each other and so happy that this team has turned out exactly as we wanted it. Friends together playing some amazing softball. Bring on the party and Division One!

Krakens 33-10 Hurricanes! After some dramatic pitch issues, we moved on to Testlands (thanks Raiders) where we ended up with a decisive victory after 4 innings. Here’s Captain Em in full flow!

Krakens win! An impressive display from both teams in the heat meant a close game which ended Krakens 24-20 Sharks. Double MVPs for Captain Emily W and Nick Duncan.

After an unbelievable weekend of softball, Krakens come away as Trophy Winners! We finished the group strong with six out of eight wins and then won the semi-final and the final decisively. We had a great spirit, lots of laughs and some sexy softball. Katie was voted MVP by the team and took home the trophy with Simon a close second. The season keeps giving and giving and we’re getting stronger as we go! Now on to Sharks at Baffins on Wednesday night! Let’s go, Krakens!
