Today is the day 🦈🦈🦈🎣🐟

I went on holiday to Bognor only from Portsmouth a few weeks back and absolutely fell in love with the one night my wife allowed me to leave the family holiday to trek over the beach 😂

I had an amazing session but also the most heartbreaking one I lost my first ever tope but also caught lots of hounds between me and Fishing With Connor

I have now decided to start a little personal vendetta with this beach and my campaign will start tomorow in search for my long loved passion of catching a tope and also trying to add to my ray species 🦈

Lovely session tonight Couple of smoothies for me lost one at the end too due to tangled lines the fish just took every line near it out unfortunately and snapped off

Earlier on in the evening just as the sun started to disappear I had a monotonous run that just would not stop on a anchovy and squid bait intended for a ray on a pulley pennel rig eventually the fish stopped and I see a big dorsal fin kite across the surface some distance out it was only one thing being that big and it was a tope after a few seconds of struggle and my xenon match rods bent over like nothing I seen before I was bitten off not only the hook had gone but the rig body too with very rough abrasiontions all up and down the remainder off it moral of the story don’t be an idiot like me and assume your not going to hook a tope and use aproprate rigs what a school boy error that was we live and learn 😊
