Stop telling yourself you can’t, and start believing that you can.

The only thing standing between where you are now and where you want to be is your willingness to put the effort in.

No one ever said it would be easy. There will be hard days, moments where you want to give up, and times when progress feels slow.

When you look at someone else’s results and think, ā€œI wish I could do that,ā€ remember this…

You absolutely can.

The difference is deciding that you’re going to keep showing up, even when it’s hard.

I’ll keep saying it because it’s true: it all comes down to how much you want it and whether you’re prepared to stay consistent.

Believe in yourself, put in the work, and watch what happens. šŸ’Ŗ

A little appreciation post for our amazing Tash. šŸ’›

To say I am beyond proud of everything you’ve achieved since joining Empower and Excel would be an understatement.

You’ve come such a long way—not just physically, but mentally too. Watching you go from doubting yourself to believing in what you’re capable of has been incredible. You’ve proved to yourself that you can achieve the things you once thought were impossible.

One of the things I’m most proud of is seeing you find the confidence to walk into a gym, step completely outside your comfort zone, and then go on to absolutely own your photo shoot. That takes courage, and you should be so proud of yourself.

You’ve achieved all of this whilst juggling so much and even starting your own business. Your determination, resilience, and willingness to keep showing up have been inspiring to watch.

I hope you now realise that anything is possible when you back yourself—and you are living proof of that.

I honestly can’t wait to see what you achieve next. The best is still to come. ā¤ļø

Just to clear something up…

No, I am not on weight loss injections.

Over the last 15 weeks, I’ve worked incredibly hard to lose the weight I’ve lost, drop a dress size, and get to where I am today.

Normally, I tend to maintain my weight, and I’m completely happy with that. But this time, I had a goal—a photoshoot. I wanted to challenge myself and see what I could achieve, and more than anything, I wanted to feel incredible.

And I genuinely do.

Every result has come from consistency, discipline, training, nutrition, and showing up, even on the days I didn’t feel like it.

I’m not against weight loss injections at all. When they’re prescribed appropriately, used safely, and combined with healthy habits like good nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes, they can be a valuable tool for some people.

What I don’t agree with is the assumption that because someone has lost weight, they must be using them.

Weight loss injections are talked about a lot at the moment, but they aren’t the only way to lose weight.

People are still achieving incredible results through hard work, consistency, and commitment. Is it easy? No. It takes time, patience, and effort.

So before making assumptions about someone’s journey, remember that everyone gets to their goals differently.

Weight loss can absolutely happen without injections—and I’m proof of that. šŸ’Ŗ

You don’t need to cut out carbs, skip meals or spend hours in the gym.

Real results come from building habits you can actually stick to around family life. šŸ‘ŒšŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Sunday Sum up ā˜€ļø

This week didn’t quite go to plan… and that’s okay.

Not every week is going to be perfect.

Did I get all the training in that I’d planned? No.
Did I tick everything off my to-do list? No.

The reality is, I haven’t been feeling very well, and sometimes your health has to come first. It’s important to recognise when you need to take a step back, rather than push through at all costs.

The biggest win this week wasn’t mine though—it was seeing so many of my ladies smashing personal bests, staying consistent despite the heat, and continuing to move one step closer to their goals.

Summer is well and truly here, and yes, training in the heat can be challenging. But it doesn’t mean we stop. We adapt, make small adjustments, and keep showing up.

Consistency doesn’t mean perfection. It means continuing, even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Here’s to a fresh week, a fresh mindset, and another opportunity to keep moving forward. šŸ’Ŗ

However impossible it feels right now, I promise you… it isn’t.
You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.

With just a little time, consistency, and effort, you can completely change how you look, how you feel, and how you see yourself.

From one mum to another: stop telling yourself you can’t. Start believing that you can.

One decision. One workout. One day at a time.

My home gym is my little sanctuary, and I absolutely love it.

With three young children and a husband who works shifts, getting to a commercial gym just isn’t realistic. And honestly, I’m okay with that, because it’s simply not possible for this season of life. Even if all I had were a couple of sets of dumbbells in the house, I’d still make it work.

Over time, I’ve created a space where I can train, work towards my goals, and prioritise my health and fitness while juggling what often feels like the world. Life is busy, but I’m incredibly grateful to have this space.

That said, I want you to know that you don’t need a home gym or loads of equipment to get started. You don’t need a room like this. What you do need is the mindset, the commitment, and the discipline to begin.

Because that’s exactly how I started—with just a couple of sets of dumbbells in my living room after my daughter was born.

It is possible. Start with what you have, where you are, and build from there.
