๐ Round 4 Nutts Corner ๐
With conditions better for racing, there was good dry sessions for the boys racing today.
Callum #28
Qual - P3
Race 1 - DNF
Race 2 - P3
Race 3 - P3
The pace was definitely lifted today with the boys and the dry track and Callum put in a good qualifying. Unfortunately the back end went on him and he crashed out in the first race much to his disappointment. But didnโt let that phase him,few minor repairs to the bike and he was back on the grid finishing in a respectable P3 in the last two races of the day ๐ Another solid session for Callum, well done kid ๐
Luke #40
Qual - P1
Race 1 - P2
Race 2 - P2
Race 3 - P3
After the disappointment of the day before and a good dry session Luke and the bike were back on form. Qualifying in P1 he was set up for the rest of the day. Was literally wheel to wheel action from Luke and Harry Birch Racing the moves those boys were pulling on each other made for exciting racing. Unfortunately Luke missed a gear on the start line on Race 3 but he chipped away and got his P3, leaving him 2nd overall for the day. He was fire ๐ฅ this weekend nevertheless.
Another successful weekend for the Fahy Bros. Round 5 of the Irish Minibikes coming up and the cob webs need blown off Callumโs JSM90 as Round 3 British Mini Bikes Championship is fast approaching. Exciting times for the boys..

๐Round 3 Nutts Corner๐ Update
Well it really was a mixed bag for the boys over the weekend. With bike giving problems on the Saturday and the weather against us it was a challenging weekend for everyone.
Very wet start to the day. Callum went out and qualified in pole ๐ and unfortunately Luke crashed out meaning he would start at the back of the grid for the the three races. After some quick repairs to the bike he was ready to go.
Callum #28
Qual - P1
Race 1 - P3
Race 2 - P2
Race 3 - P2
After the disappointment of the bike letting him down at the previous round at Athboy Callum was back on form on Saturday and with some fast competition out front and wet conditions Callum came home 2nd overall on the day.
Luke #40
Qual - P11
Race 1 - P3
Race 2 - DNF
Race 3 - P5
Luke really made a come back after setting off at the back of the pack and a winning start he came an amazing P3 in the first race. Unfortunately due to wet conditions he crashed out in Race 2 which leads us on to Race 3 where unfortunately again more problems with bike leaving him stuck in 3rd gear and loose footpegs he was pipped at the finish line and finished P5.
Boys as always done themselves proud.
Thanks for the ๐ท

๐Round 2 Athboy๐
Weather wasnโt giving on the Saturday morning, boys went out on timed practice and told to take it easy and get there new tyres scrubbed in.
Unfortunately with the rain qualifying was cancelled and there grid positions were taken from the timed practice, leaving Luke in an amazing p2 and Callum in p5 much to his disappointment. After a long delay, racing went ahead and 3 races ran.
Callum #28
Unfortunately Callums bike wasnโt going the best and had mechanical issues which wasnโt gettting solved that day so he just had to ride through the splutters and do the best he could. Early days it being Round 2 so all is not lost. Good effort Callum giving the circumstances.
Race 1 - P3
Race 2 -P5
Race 3 -P6
Luke #40
Another cracking round for Luke and came home with his best results yet.!His starts were ๐ฅ giving him the lead for a couple a laps in a couple of races until the pressure from behind sent him wide on a couple of corners giving away his p1 position, but he held his own through all three races and came home with P2 in all 3 races, what an achievement.Luke has really come into himself this year and his confidence is definetly growing. Heโs one to watch this season. Thanks to Richard Knipe for helping with Lukeโs bike enabling him to make it in the grid.
Race 1 - P2
Race 2 - P2
Race 3 - P2

๐Round 1 of the Irish Minibike Championships at Nuttscorner Circuit and the boys didnโt disappoint!!
Quick run down of the day.
Callum #28 qualified in his dreaded P4 position. Race 1 didnโt go his way and unfortunately the fuel wasnt turned on bike till after his warm up lap and sat on the grid which led to him not getting off the start line, but he got the bike going and battled his way on and finished in P6 and also put in the second fastest lap time off the race ๐ Race 2 & 3 he came back fighting and picked up P2 in both races which has left him sitting 2nd overall after Round 1 and still 9 to go๏ฟผ๐๐ ๐ฅ
Luke #40 Where do I start with this boy. His knee sliders tell the story ๐ฅHe qualified in an amazing P3. Race 1 he held his position and finished P3,Race 2 again finished in a strong P3 and then we get to the final race of the day himself and Harry Birch Racing were neck and neck the last lap but Harry just pipped him over the finish line giving Luke another well earned P3. This is even more special as itโs his first time breaking into top 3 ever and his first ever podium finish ๐๐ Delighted with himself ๐ฅ
All in all a successful first round for the two bros.
Thanks Two Brothers Photography for the snaps of the boys. Thanks again to HP Hire for the generator to run the boys tyre warmers ๐ฅ giving them extra grip on the track
