🔵⚫️ 1ST TEAM FULL TIME 🔵⚫️

Rovers started the game trying the control possession but a few lose passes allowed Fintona to make it into a scrappy contest with Rovers contesting a lot of high balls. On the 8th minutes Fintona took the lead after Rovers failed to win the second ball. Rovers regrouped a took control of the game creating multiple chances, however, failed to convert. Against the complete run of play Fintona extended there lead with Rovers going in to the break 2-0 down at half time. Second half again started with a lot of long balls from Fintona taking Rovers time to gain momentum again. Rovers saw several opportunities fly over the bar before eventually converting from a McGarry freekick being to strong for the Fintona keeper to hold to make 2-1. Rovers had another opportunity shortly after to equalize, however, Kyle Carruthers put a delivery from Ian Carruthers inches wide of the post. Rovers kept the pressure on and nearly snatched a point at the end with kyle Carruthers playing a low drill cross back post finding Odhran Houston how unfortunately placed it over the bar. unfortunately it was Rovers day failing to convert some great chances

A fantastic performance from the Rovers Reserves against St Pats, but ultimately heartbreak at the final whistle.
The Rovers raced into a 2–0 lead, before St Pats fought back. We then went 3–2 ahead and looked set to take all three points, only for St Pats to score with the last kick of the game to make it 3–3. 😔

Dunbreen started brightly as expected looking to take control of the game early on dominating possession. Rovers defended well obsorbing alot of pressure. on the 20th minute Dunbreen scored from an overload on down the left cutting the ball back to McCaffrey on the penalty spot. Rovers regrouped and started to knock the ball about creating opportunities of our own before Odhran Houston won the ball at the half way line and lobbed the dunbreen keeper making it 1-1. Dunbreen continuing with the overload on the left were able to get a cross in on the 35th minute Rovers keeper collided with Dunbreen Mccaffrey spilling the ball with Dunbreen converting from the collusion making it 2-1. The game was then halted due to an injury to the Rovers keeper requiring an ambulance. An some time the game was able to commence and we went in to the break 2-1 down. second half Rovers came out a lot brighter moving the ball more freely, however, Rovers conceded a corner on the 54th minute and due the a poor clearance Dunbreen picked the ball up on the edge on the box converting to make it 3-1. Rovers, however, didn't stop and continued pressing and creating several opportunies glancing across the Dunbreen goal but nobody was there to convert. Late on Rovers pressured the Dunbreen keepr into a poor clearance which landed at the feet of Kyle Miller, Kyle was able to lobbed the keeper from 40 yards out making it 3-2. Rovers continued looking for the equalizer and frustration led to dunbreen having a man sent off. Dunbreen were able to see the game out after sustained pressure from Rovers.

Reserves lost 3-1 against galaxy. Everyone put in a good performance in what was a tight game but galaxy edged it in the end.
