APPRECIATION POST!!!

Whilst many of you may know Jobe has suffered a serious injury which has sidelined him for a few weeks, after making a brief return for our game last week the operation is taking its toll and he will be out for a game or two as well as missing training sessions!

With that said if your gonna get an assistant, get yourself a Dale Clark 💪

Dale has picked up the reigns and continued to push the boys in Jobe's absence and it's great to see everyone pulling together.

Big shout out to you Dale for the work you put in to improve these boys weekly, the best assistant a team could ask for 💙❤️

Sunday 13th September we welcomed Beaufort United Whites in a brilliant game of football

After reflection we asked for composure and for some control today after last week's chaotic game.

Starting the game as if we were still in Woodhouse it was frantic and doesn't suit how we play.

The game settled and the boys were brilliant, delivering a near perfect performance playing as a team and working hard at both ends whilst finally controlling the flow of the game!!

And some really good displays all over, making it difficult to choose our players of the match.

Managers Player - Jaiden & Rupert - Jaiden showed great awareness and recovered brilliantly a number of times showing great composure and setting the attacks off from the back. Rupert's energy and decision making in the first half was infectious and he stood out, was a positive influence throughout and involved in almost all good in the game.

Coaches Player - Harry - the game started scrappy and Harry came on and made an instant impact settling us down with 2 great little finishes, exactly what we've been looking for, slowly becoming what we expected.

Opposition Player - Ashton-Thomas - a constant threat during the game, did his defensive duties really well, the opposition states "he ran the game" which is credit in itself.

So Sunday saw our first YEL game take place and we were really unlucky on the day, an end to end fast paced high scoring match that could easily have gone either way and it was only a few scrappy goals that made the difference. The small 4G pitch suited them more than us. A really good performance overall, great effort and great character to keep on battling to the end. Let’s work hard on Thursday and go again next week 💪

A cracking game against the U11s ended in a 3-2 victory 👏

The boys showed incredible fight again after going 2 goals down, we created a lot of chances and were struggling to convert and got punished!!

We played some brilliant football and looked dangerous, the U11s also showed true Robin Hood spirit and backed it up with some brilliant team play also 👏

Such a hard choice for the awards again 💪

Managers Player - George, we asked for calm composed play with tempo, and this boy delivered today, linking up the play and getting forward to support in attacks, work rate the best he's been for a while and that itself was the most impressive 👏

Coaches Player - Jaiden, this time as a defender/midfielder a real solid performance, never lost a tackle and makes the game look easy, the boy has a boat load of ability no matter where he plays 💪

Oppositions Player - Finn, really showing some consistency in his play, work rate and attitude was tremendous once again and on either flank he created numerous chances for his teammates and probably should have grabbed a goal or two tonight ⚡
