Thank you for your patience as we continue to upgrade the gym. There’s going to be a bit of re-organising over the coming weeks but it will be worth the slight disruption as it enhances the training atmosphere.
Last week we added the new chest press and this week we add a new cambered bar.

WHEA GB Britain’s Strongest Natural u85kg 6th place for Jamie who was invited to compete in Halifax. Ended up in the middle of the pack on some of the events and mixed things up, putting pressure on competitors. Already back in the gym building for the next outing.

Not a bad day for his last outing on Scottish soil for a while 🏴.
Our departing General Manager and Strongman Callum competed in Edinburghs Strongest Man on Saturday and finished in 5th place. As always very strong in the deadlift, but a couple of self confessed mistakes cost him some valuable points.
Although 5th doesn’t merit a trophy, he managed to still finish third in the Scottish Strongman League due to his performance in competition 1, before stepping up the opens
We are all incredibly proud of Callum and how far he is come as much as we are sad to see him go, we know he will work just as hard as he moves back to Dubai for his next chapter!

Lukasz Retkowski recently won gold at the A/BPU British Full Power Championships winning gold and setting a new world record with a 227.5kg deadlift at 95kg.
