Actual, proper, soaking RAIN. The fields are drinking it up, the dust is disappearing, the ground might finally stop resembling concrete and somewhere a blade of grass is preparing to make a comeback. 😂🌱
And then there’s the horse-owner brain…
“Oh lovely, we desperately needed this.” 🥰
Approximately 0.7 seconds later:
“WAIT. THE GRASS.” 👀
“THE SUGARS.”
“LAMINITIS.”
“EVERYONE GET IN THE BARE PADDOCK IMMEDIATELY.” 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, horse ownership is just moving seamlessly from drought anxiety → rain anxiety → grass anxiety → mud anxiety and then back around again. 🫠

Some days are harder than others
Missing my little guy so much today
Perhaps it’s the weather changing a bit and the thought of Autumn coming and the boys would be in their cozy stable together munching away on their feeds and treats 💔. Not quite sure how Magic will cope without Pumpkin at night or who we are going too put in the stable next door for company x. 💔🐴
