A well-deserved result for the lads today after a number of strong performances in recent weeks.

The team worked incredibly hard throughout, maintained their shape well, and showed great commitment from start to finish. Despite missing a few early opportunities and having several players adapt to different positions, the attitude and work rate on display were outstanding.

🏆 Away Player of the Match: Seb – excellent positional play and some superb link-up football throughout.

🏆 Home Player of the Match: Miller – his handling has been a real focus in training, and today’s performance showed the progress he’s making.

The performances over the past few weeks have deserved more than the results have reflected, so it’s fantastic to see the boys rewarded for their hard work today.

🟣⚫ Full Time ⚫🟣

The result didn’t go our way today, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game.

The lads showed real courage to keep playing the right way, building from the back and trusting each other on the ball. We were punished for two mistakes, but that’s football, and the reaction from the team was excellent.

There was some really good football played, the effort never dropped, and the boys kept going right until the end. Mav pulled one back from the penalty spot with a couple of minutes to play, and we even had a big chance at the death to grab an equaliser.

No heads down — we learn, we improve and we go again. The attitude and commitment shown by the whole squad was brilliant. Scores don’t always reflect performance. Developing and learning to convert chances is the next phase. 👏🟣⚫
