⚽️ Freddie – A lovely finish to get us on the scoresheet!

⚽️ Harrison – A beauty of a free kick, sailing over the keeper’s head and into the net! 🎯

⚽️ Bailey – A powerful strike from a goal kick. The keeper got a hand to it, but there was absolutely no stopping it!

⚽️ Archie – Scored directly from his own goal kick! 🤯🔥 Unreal!

⚽️ Louie – A beautiful cross from Harrison, laying it on a plate for Louie to finish into the open net with his left foot. 👌

👏 Zach – Drove forward brilliantly, creating chances while making sure he was always covering his defence. Great all-round shift!

👏 Joaquin – After six weeks away over the summer, he came back with a brilliant attitude and put in a great shift! Winning the ball, driving forward and getting stuck in. 💪

🏆 Man of the Match – It was a very close call, so the decision was left to the parents. This week’s MOTM went to Harrison! Well done keep up the continuous battling & scoring goals!👏⚡️

What a shift from the lads today! 🧡⚡️

We only had the bare 5 players today with no subs, playing a full 40-minute match in 20-degree heat ☀️🥵 — and every single one of them gave absolutely everything right up until that final whistle.

⭐️ Zach – Stepped up today and went in goal. He absolutely loves a turn in nets when needed and always looks so comfortable back there. Some great saves and another brilliant performance! 🧤👏

⭐️ Bailey – Solid at the back as always and what a goal! A beauty from his own half 🚀⚽️ You could see the confidence growing throughout the game.

⭐️ Harrison – Two goals today and took them both in his stride. Battled forward, kept pushing and never gave up. 💪⚽️

⭐️ Louie – A hat-trick for Louie! 🔥⚽️⚽️⚽️ Head up, kept going and kept battling until the very end. What a performance!

⭐️ Freddie – A lovely goal put away by Freddie today! ⚽️👏 Never gave up, kept chasing and kept going and going right until the final whistle.

We definitely started to tire in the second half — which is no surprise after playing the full game with no substitutes in that heat — but they still refused to stop battling. 💪🔥

A team two divisions higher than us, 25 degree heat and our boys absolutely battled right until the very end! 💪🏼 What a game it was — so close, so competitive and a brilliant test for the lads.

The final score Shincliffe 7–6, the scoreline doesn’t tell the full story. These boys never gave up, kept fighting for every ball and pushed a team two divisions above them all the way to the final whistle. 👏🏼

Bailey & JJ were strong at the back, putting in some brilliant challenges and making sure they were right in the fight whenever Washington came forward. 💪🏼

Freddie was getting stuck in, battling for every ball and driving forward whenever he got the chance. 💪🏼

Louie — outstanding! You played like you have never been away from our team. The looking up, the passing, the shooting and, most importantly, THE FINISHING! ⚽️🔥 4 goals today, including a hat-trick! You ran your little socks off, chased every single ball down and did us SO proud. What a comeback! Massive well done Louie! 👏❤️

Bailey — solid at the back as always! You have certainly found your feet in defence and put in some really important tackles.
