If you're a young person living with Congenital Heart Disease, we'd love you to be part of an important conversation.
The North East & North Cumbria Congenital Heart Disease Network is creating a series of short films to help teachers and school staff better understand what it's really like to live with CHD.
To make sure these films reflect real experiences, we're inviting young people to share their stories and ideas during one of two online sessions. ๐ซถโจ
๐
Wednesday 8th July | 7:15pm โ 8:00pm
๐
Thursday 9th July | 7:15pm โ 8:00pm
Whether you want to speak about balancing appointments and schoolwork, feeling different to those around you or simply want to help others understand life with a heart condition, sharing your voice could help make a real difference for other young people with CHD. ๐
To confirm your place at one of the Zoom sessions or for any enquiries, please contact Kaye Walsh at [email protected] or visit https://nenc-chdnetwork.nhs.uk/
If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian for permission before joining.
If you canโt attend one of the Zoom meetings, you can still share your thoughts by DMing us and we'll make sure you have your say. ๐ซถ

What a lovely surprise visit!
Dr Basu, High Sheriff of the County Palatine of Durham dropped into TINekeโs dance training session last night to present an award in recognition of TIN Artsโ inspirational work transforming lives and creating inclusive opportunities through high-quality dance and the performing arts. Knowing that our work with young people and inclusive communities is seen and valued at the highest civic level provides our team with a fantastic boost of encouragement.
Thank you!
