The strongest investment you can make is in your future self.

JCT Future Proof Yourself 💜

✔️ Women’s group strength sessions
✔️ Build strength, confidence & resilience
✔️ Suitable for all abilities
✔️ Supportive coaching in a welcoming environment

Train for life—not just for summer.

We don’t lose strength because we get older—we lose it because we stop challenging our muscles.

Strength training helps protect your bones, supports your metabolism, improves balance, and makes everyday life easier.

That’s exactly why I created Future Proof Yourself - women’s strength group sessions focused on building a stronger, healthier body for the long term.
No intimidation. No pressure. Just supportive coaching, progressive training, and an amazing community of women lifting each other up.

What does “ Future Proof Yourself” mean?

It’s training in a way that helps you stay strong, capable, and injury-resistant for years or decades—not just maximizing short-term performance.

The idea is to build a body that can handle the demands of aging, daily life, sports, and unexpected challenges.

Examples of future-proofing in strength training include:

* Maintaining muscle mass as you age, since muscle loss accelerates later in life.

* Building strength through full ranges of motion so joints stay healthy and mobile.

* Training balance and coordination to reduce fall risk.

* Strengthening connective tissues (tendons, ligaments) with consistent progressive loading.

* Avoiding unnecessary wear and tear from constantly pushing maximal weights.

* Addressing weak links such as grip strength, core stability, and posterior-chain strength.

* Including conditioning and mobility work rather than focusing only on lifting heavier.

Does this sound like something you would like to get involved in?

Thanks ☺️

⭐️ Future Proof Yourself ⭐️

Lifting weights is the most powerful anti-ageing strategy for your skin, brain, bones and muscles

Adults aged 40–60 can gain substantial physical and mental benefits from resistance training, even at just 1–2 sessions per week.

Physical benefits:

Muscle preservation and strength

After about age 40, muscle mass naturally declines over time (sarcopenia). Weight training helps:

* Maintain and build muscle
* Preserve functional strength
* Improve everyday activities like lifting, climbing stairs, and carrying bags

I am not always very present on socials but that doesn’t mean my strength girls aren’t working hard in the gym.

I always try and encourage my clients to enjoy their training first and foremost. If you enjoy what you are doing then that is half the battle.

Consistency is the key. It’s not a quick fix, it’s not hours a day for 30 days then *surprise* It’s continuing to show up for yourself week in, week out. Changing your lifestyle, both in exercise and nutritional habits.

This is Jude. She started with me in my strength group 10 months ago. She has been training twice a week. Making better nutritional and lifestyle choices and this is the rewards.

1 year apart! Well done 👏 Jude.

Would you like to work with me? No gimmicks, just real life coaching. You too can change how you look and feel.
