I’ve been trying to think of something to say today……….
Today was one of those football days that can be tough for the kids — all three of our 2017 teams came away beaten.

But that’s grassroots football. ❤️

To our Diamonds, Stars and Thistles — please hold your heads high! You turned up, gave your all, supported each other and kept going right until the final whistle. That is something to be proud of. 👏⚽

And to all our parents — thank you for the encouragement, support and positivity you give these kids every week. Days like today can be hard when you see them disappointed, but remember what we’re building here is so much bigger than a scoreline.

At 9 years old, they are learning how to win, how to lose, how to work together, how to bounce back and, most importantly, how to love playing football. ❤️

One tough Saturday doesn't define any of our teams.

We’ll dust ourselves down, take the positives, learn from today and go again next week. 💪⚽

DSC 2017 had 3 teams, Diamonds, Stars and Thistles all in action today ⚽️

30 kids playing football with lots of goals and lots of smiles, on and off the pitch!!!

Coaching notes: lots of team spirit, kept their heads up and showed amazing team work. Everyone put a shift in!!

Keep having fun boys, we are all very proud of each and every one of you!!
