This past weekend saw our annual finals weekend and what a weekend of bowls it was!! Congratulations to all the winners and commiserations to the runner-ups. Full results are listed below.

Congratulations to Becks Kittridge for winning the West Perthshire Ladies Singles title tonight, a fantastic achievement, all at Dunblane Bowling Club are super proud of you.

Congratulations also to Sarah Lockhart who was runner up in the Junior Competition. We are all incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for you. Well done to all of our juniors who took part this evening, we are incredibly lucky to have such an active junior section and offer our thanks to all who took part.

Best of luck to Becks Kittridge who is playing in the ladies singles final of the West Perthshire competition at Doune Castle Bowling Club tonight.

Good luck also to 4 of our Juniors who are also heading through to compete at the West Perthshire Finals.

We wish you all the very best of luck and hope you enjoy the experience.

Spectators are welcome to attend, the evening will be kicking off at around 6pm.

Tonight we played our annual game against Lodge of Dunblane No. IX.

Congratulations to the Lodge who won for the second year running.

Great to see our juniors back out at another competition yesterday, this time at Greenfaulds Bowling Club in Cumbernauld.

It wasn’t to be on this occasion but well done to all for taking part and thanks to Findlay Lockhart and Kerry Anderson for making it happen.

Today saw the annual Peter & Jean Nairn Memorial Mixed Triples Competition.

Congratulations to Becks Kittridge, Colin McDiarmid and Terry Gallon who lifted the trophy and commiserations to the runners-up Joan Russell, James Macdonald and Koi Chan.

A very enjoyable day today playing our annual friendly against our friends from Causewayhead.

Causewayhead won the day 58v56.

A fantastic day yesterday at our relaunched Gents Invitational 2 Bowl Triples.

The Semi Finals saw two teams from Paton & Baldwin Bowling Club and two teams from Doune Castle Bowling Club facing off for a spot in the final.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who took part for making the day the huge success that it was.

Well done to our juniors who took part in a triples competition today at Abronhill Bowling Club in Cumbernauld. For many of them it was their first time at a competition so thank you to our Youth Convenor, Findlay Lockhart, for providing these youngsters with such a valuable experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Thanks also to Carol Thomson and Thierry Chan for taking part and making this possible.

It’s great to see a thriving junior section at our club, they are the future of the sport after all.
